this is a good point. i find things not rly making sense about this info. i think she actually had a really big plan for promotion of this album. i mean she started out with the promo tour over at the U.K. it didnt look like that was all she planned on doing. we were getting lots of interviews, etc. and then all of a sudden things stopped. after the chatty man, she pulled out and never showed her face again for the longest time. i think she put a stop to it all cuz she felt uncomfortable tbh. like i think she got more anxiety. but at first things were going so well.

I just think RCA pulled the plug, by the time she went to the UK it was already evident WB was over. It underperformered everywhere, except Canada. So when she went to the UK and still nothing, RCA was done. Perfume was the final nail on that coffin, and Britney Jean's release was just the dirt covering it. They did the same thing to Pink when Blow Me came out the gate with nary a splash, they didn't put much steam behind her, but then it became a hit cause she actually promoted and they rode that campaign hard, and Try furthered it along. They did Britney like they did Christina, and both Christina and her couldn't have cared less.

That's bcos she doesnt give a fuck about her career anymore.. thats the truth!

If she really care about her career she'd promote her new stuff and would do amazing performances like she used to..

But honestly the lack of passion on her work is visible and that made that her legacy as a pop star ended in 2004 ( counting blackout) ..

Is really sad cos nowadays she could be bigger than Madonna.. but now everyones sees her as a mediocre artist that doesnt sing live and doesnt dance as well as she used to.

Interesting.

I mentioned this before and everything should always be taken with a grain of salt. I have a friend (well he's my sisters friend but whatever) that I talk to from time to time. He works at a local radio station. Will was to do a morning interview with the station. My friend did a preshow interview with him to try and get to some stuff that would interest the listeners. He usually does this with management and PR but Will did is own for reasons my friend doesn't know...

The points he got from Will about Britney:

-Will was really Busy doing his thing at the end of BJ. My friend did say Will wanted to not talk as much about Britney as my friend felt his Crew would want him too. I don't think Will ended up talking much about Britney when the actual interview aired.

-Britney is Shy but knows what she wants though. Will enjoyed having his talks with Britney. She's fun but doesn't like to talk about herself.

-Britney didn't want a dark album. She wanted personal but not dark. Will had to tell people songs were too dark. Trying to get rewrites. Some just pulled songs.

-Britney was incredible happy when she worked with Sia. Britney wanted more from Sia than originally scheduled.

-My friend asked about writing Credits on BJ and Will said Britney had strong writing impact on 8 of them. I don't know if he meant form the 13 or the 10 standard.

i hate when britney back tracks. First she records really personal songs then gets cold feet and leaves them off the album, then gets cold feet about the Perfume video. I'm Sad :boring:

u kno what. i dont think thats what it is. i think she is very fragile and has troulble speaking up so i thnk what it is is that she gets pushed around by everyone in the idustry. she needs someone who she gets to sit down and be comfortable with and feel secure and find herself. find what she truly wants and not b told what to do by everyone. maybe thats what has been happening for a while and now she completely forgot even what she is doing cuz over time it got worse and worse. i mean i even saw how she wasnt rly involved in the work bitch recording. like the made a shot and showed it to her and she didnt even take a good look at it or try to do anythign with it. she just said i like it. its good but i think she was just trying to look laid back and not seem demanding. so i think she has trouble being herself and being a bit bitchy and demanding cuz u get shamed for that u kno. people look down at someone like that but if she doesnt get to be herself, she feels forced and loses passion in her life and work. thats what it is imo

i do agree with you on the lack of promoting and her not caring about the sales  i have seen the light on that part. But do you not see how well she is doing in Vegas compared to the mess that was the ff tour.... also from somebody who was carried on a stretcher, and shaved her head off to getting her kids taking away i'd say she has come a long way a long way and is doing tremendously.

omygod i think i kno why she didnt want them too dark and thats why it turned out to b generic, general album. just like lana- they are afraid the public wont like depressing stuff :icanttt: this really makes me not wanna stan for her musically anymore. i mean i love her as a person as a star. but her material isnt the same. i dont kno if i stan for bj. and im afraid if she makes another album, it's going to b even worse.

cunt.will.iam  :4music: okay if album 9 comes around i hope he stays as far away as possible   :4music: AS POSSIBLE  :4music:

i wanna hate william too but i have a feeling he isnt the only one responsible for the flopage of bj. it is probably jive fault too cuz they fucking things up with making the album i mean so many mistakes in the booklet. shitty promo. no single three. i dont even kno. its also britneys fault kind of, she didnt put more efford in it. and i mean like more say in things. she didnt perfect things. i kno she thinks thats not attractive but she should b more particular and real with her work. oh well she might even b done with all the music so i dont kno. i cant even b talking anymore about this. its still kind of good to listen to bj once in a while and still kno that b had at least some say in it

Well Britney did say she "tends to lean towards fun music. When you are out and about your day you wanna have a good time. You wanna listen to something that puts you in good spirits. And I think most of my music is uplifting. You know it's positive music. It's reinforcing about you know about sex, power, love, friends, all the things that we want to talk about"

Britney has even changed the meaning of POM to be a happy song about attitude instead of one about the struggle of what it was like to be Britney at the time of it's release.

britney's fault totally i am still mad at her & her team for not releasing rageney on Perfume i don't know why the fans gave up on the petition on it it would have sold more singles if britney just brought out her badass side  :crying1:

it will probably leak a little bit later. the thing is she wore a virginia tech sweat shirt behind the scenes and the guy scene later didnt help much either. u kno with the whole shooting thing at virginia tech, they had to cut that out :crying1: i wish perfume didnt flop. it deserved some credit. i loved the version they gave us too. it was so beautiful it made me cry. such an emotional tender video but they had to cut it out

I like that song home. I'm not gonna say I LOVE IT THAT RECORD SHOULD'VE BEEN 4 BRITNEY BRITNEY WAS BORN TO SING THAT SONG

But it has single potential, something that most of britney jean songs lack off

I really wish she would have got 'Crazy Stupid Love'. I'm a big Cheryl fan, but this was the first time I didn't like her lead single, but now I realize it's a grower and I love it now. BJ was most likely her 'most personal' but since most of the personal songs didn't make it, we might not ever hear them  :crying1:
