I kind of don't understand that tho. She said it was gonna be her most personal album yet and then scrapped the songs because they were personal???? I feel like either Britney or Britney's management has been really playing it safe. They don't take risks anymore like with Perfume MV being dumbed down because they were afraid of gun-controversy.

"BJ" was a Commercial Album. So you know Britney's Team made the decisions on that. I remember what Britney said about the Album months before its release. That it would be personal and scaled back from what we are used to hearing from her. There would be some dance tracks but the rest would be more acoustical than what we usually get. None of that came true. Britney also said we would get a feel or vibe of music from the previous Eras as well including new material. I didn't get that feeling either.

When Did Britney say acoustic? Will is the one that said they would use real instruments. Britney called the album Electric and she mentioned moody mid tempos. A lot. 

 

i do believe that after Work Bitch didn't smash and then there was so much talk about Britney lip syncing that it was decided she wasn't going to do promo performance so as not to put Vegas as risk. When it was decided that Britney wasn't going to do promo performances and that the album wasn't going to be highlighted even on tour, producers pulled some songs.

I've said this from the second the era started, they have purposely sabotaged the era (the album, perfume's video, no promotion) so that Brit doesn't have to promote, it's sad but true

It also sounds like this album was going to be incredible but as soon as they realised that, it was like 'lets stop that and rush to make a generic one' hence the rushed production on most of the album
