I remember it was all over the news back then. Heidi announced that she would have a "duet" with Britney and the song leaked and everyone was so disappointed about Britney that she would stoop so low as collaborating with Heidi. Then, people found out that Brit recorded the song long ago but never made the cut. Heidi was working with the writer of the song and I guess the writer gave Heidi the song and somehow she got her hands on Brit's version. She mashed her version with Britney's and released it online as their "duet" LOL I remember Perez Hilton and other blog sites attacked Heidi. Not hating. I like her version actually but yeah just saying... They didn't record together
EnjoyTheRide Posted July 2, 2014 #20 Report Posted July 2, 2014 Yup, Heidi was working with either the producer or one of the writers of Dramatic and they gave Heidi the song (which must've been Britney's version) and she recorded vocals over it. If I remember correctly, the label released a statement saying Britney had nothing to do with it at all.
