It's not that bad guys! She sounds a little out of tune at some parts, but with some work she'll learn how to control her voice, this just proves that she does have a nice voice, she just needs to work on it!

Even the word Time at the very beginning seems to start at the right note, and is then pitched down a semitone.

Someone has manipulated this to sound bad, but they've done it badly.

The "not alone" is sung by Ana Diaz, who did the original demo vocals.

 

I'm torn over it tbh. It doesn't sound mechanical at all and if you autotune it, it actually sounds pretty identical to the album version which makes it seem like that's all Orbit did with her rough vocals. However, some parts of this "raw" vocal still have that warble effect created by autotune, like on "take me homeeeee", which makes me think that someone has fucked with it.

 

The other leaked vocal used in the acoustic version was different and sounded a lot stronger. This could have been a warm up run-through of the song or something. I dunno. We all know Britney isn't the strongest vocalist ever, but she's never sounded this off-key in the studio.

if its real Britney needs to continuously work on her vocals...meet with a vocal coach stop smoking take care of her voice...like cmon idk what her team is doing..they clearny just focus on her image rather than her voice....didnt sound too bad she still has a voice but its not being given the proper treatment

If she can sing live with that vocals, i'm quite content tbh, not that bad. Okay, a bit bad, but still acceptable for me.

 

Maybe that's what we'll get if Britney were to sing live in her concert.

I honestly don't know what to think at this point. If it IS real, though, it makes me really upset to think of all of the ways her voice has been mistreated over the years. She was definitely much better earlier on in her career. The strength and control is just not there anymore (if this is real). What is wrong with her vocal coaches?
