I wish at least those two, Work Bitch and Perfume, two amazing songs, were successful.

If I could choose between performances and success for Work Bitch and Perfume or more singles and music videos, I would choose the first one.

Both music videos are amazing, but could have been even better. Work Bitch is almost perfect, but I wish it used the complete song, don't understand why the best part is cut. Perfume is really beautiful and I love the first part and her acting, but the end is disappointing and boring, the Director's Cut would have been iconic.

Perfume should have also received a CD single release, like Work Bitch with the song and its instrumental on it.

I know she was rehearsing POM, but I wish she did at least one promo performance for Work Bitch and Perfume. Imagine she performed both songs at VMAs or at that GMA announcement thing. Instead of getting sick in a helicopter and all the drama, she should have just arrived there, then sing Perfume completely live, then perform Work Bitch with the great choreography! The complete BJ era would have been much better if that happened imo!

I love Britney Jean and i'm okay with the fact she didn't promote it and only released 2 singles (I SAID IT!)

We know she was busy with 'Piece Of Me' and i'm happy we still got new Britney music!

 

HOWEVER.....i will never accept the fact she didn't release Alien!

everyone around me (non britney fans) love the song and it's also my personal favorite!

This could have been a HUGE HIT i'm pretty sure! 

 

I'm sad she didn't saved Alien for another album that WILL GET promotion!

I agree, the production side of things for Britney Jean were mishandled on so many different levels, because of that I have accepted this album just being a mere tie-in for her Vegas shows and nothing more.  But I would have loved for "Alien" to had gotten the single treatment, this is the type of music sonically & lyrically she excels. It's very atmospheric, mature sounding and would love a lot more in this vein.  

 

"Passenger" --  the Myah Marie talk aside -- is a solid song that has grown on me a lot.  It would have been a nice contrast to what is being released and played on pop radio.  Hyper-sexual singles by major pop stars didn't burn up the charts like expected (e.g. Katy's "Birthday," GaGa's "G.U.Y.," Beyonce's "Partition") and this song sounds like a perfect soundtrack for summer.  It's one of the few off BJ that could reach a different audience like "Alien."
