Why or why not?

Personally I don't think she will. I would recommend her to take a hiatus until January 2020, then release a final album in December of that year. She would just have to market it as her last album so that more people, no offense, so that more people would care. The only promo performance expectation I would have from her is one award show performance for single 1, and one talk show performance for single 2.

if thats what will make her happier, then she should; but i dont think she will. i think she'll venture out into new territories like acting and stuff tho.

NOT you acting like I don't love Britney with all my heart. But at least I can acknowledge she doesn't want to do this anymore. :4music:

oohhh wow! i'm back at exhale i guess

anyway....If she really wanted to retire she would have done it already!

she still loves what she does....but she doesn't want to promote and stuff anymore!

she has kids now so her life has changed alot!

But i'm sure she still loves it!

Not true. Her recording contract promises 8 studio albums. She didn't have a choice on the matter of whether or not to retire. She does now, though.

Do I want her to retire? No.  :youpoorthing:

Should she retire ? If that's what makes her, happy, YES. If she wants to retire from making music and concerts because she's not feeling it anymore, I'm totally backing her on that. I'm a fan of Britney the Performer, but also of Britney the human being. So if that's what makes her happy and peaceful, and fulfilled with life, and she may wants to focus on family, I'm totally for it.

Bottom line: she should do whatever makes her happy, go on or retire, regardless of us. It's her life.  :crying5:

no fan would want their childhood idol to retire instead of touring loads i would prefer a really good album where we know it is her singing. and some really good singing/dance performances on well known chat shows such as david letterman instead of touring loads. mariah carey had a couple of albums till she toured she built her career at the start and still does on television performances and unplugged mini concerts. i think that is more appropriate for britneys career now putting energy into one off iconic performances and doing televised concerts. then she could enjoy time with her family and it would be less draining on her because if she is a shy person i think it is a strain always pushing herself to be outgoing. she could make the majority of her money from acting roles and her perfume because i don't see the turn out at international concerts lasting because when i went to femme fatale i witnessed a couple of different groups leaving and being disgruntled because every one at her concert knows how she preformed before.  no point touring to show people that  your not performing to your fullest potential it would be better to do once off great performances instead of below average concerts.the circus concert in the o2 in dublin didn't even have a screen for people with bad seats so it was like listening to a cd. only teeny boppers don't mind if a boy band is not that good ,most of her fans are older.

She should do whatever she feels like doing. If deep down she's tired of the industry and wants to settle down and concentrate on family, I would rather see her happy than being forced to half-ass shows and make weak records. If she wants to continue on I am 100% here for her.

Whatever makes her most happy will make me happy. I would rather have no more music than see her miserable on stage. :crying5: I think she wouldn't have done Vegas had she wanted to retire, however. She might have had to get eight studio albums out of the way to finish her contract, but Vegas wasn't on that recording contract. She could have just thrown out Britney Jean and retired to get it over with, but instead she accepted a Vegas residency deal and kept on doing her thing. She looks a lot happier in Las Vegas too! I mean, we can't say she accepted it for the money only also, because she already has enough money to retire and be set for life. She doesn't need Vegas. She did it because it's what she wants to do. :pieceofwhat:
