That said, I think it's just been a slow entertainment news week so people are grabbing on to whatever they can. I'm sure this will all be forgotten in a while. I hope she sings Alien live though, as a big fuck you to everyone.

Now if this had been Celine or Adele (or anyone else known for their singing abilities)... well, I wouldn't want to be on damage control duty for that.

It's actually causing alien to rise on Itunes so maybe they'll release it as a single (even though I hate the song but a single is a single.)

The general public already makes fun of her for not being able to sing and now they see actual evidence of her .. not so great vocals. I'm way more worried about her credibility as an artist now Britney's team needs to get up off their asses and do a PR move ASAP! Am I overreacting?

They just like picking on Britney. It never spread like the Alien vocals so they didn't pick up on it. Plus Gaga has proved she's a good singer live so people would just think it was a bad take. On the other hand there has always been speculation about Britney being a bad singer and there's no recent proof that says otherwise so I guess it was a lot easier for the GP to believe, but that's just my theory

I feel like her team should ask her if she is interested in any other ventures...look at Jessica Simpson she could sing but she is making her millions off of a clothing line and such. Britney should do the same. And I wih britneh was up to it but with all this drama going on I think Britney should go in SNL and do a hilarious skit! Maybe something to the extent of why she sounded like that. That way it would be plastered everywhere the next day! Hahah true! She should do something like that. Or a hell of a live performance singing Alien at the VMAS. I dont think that will ever happen tho, Britney doesnt care about the media

kermit Posted July 10, 2014 #43 Report Posted July 10, 2014 i dont think it will be that bad. i think in a week it'll all be forgotten; it may be brought up every once in a while like the "real" dwad live from las vegas vocals, but that'll be all. her career has taken way worse hits than this and she comes out fine. it hasnt changed my opinion on her at all. i know she can sing, we've got multiple other demos and stuff to prove it. its not a big deal imo.

Random, all of my friends and family on fb came to her defense when the buzzfeed and another site showed up on their timelines. It made me smile. My sister, who doesnt hate her but isn't a fan loves Alien.
