Britney needs to sing Alien live now

It would shut up the haters if she recorded a performance from Vegas and broadcasted it at the VMAs, a week after it's released as third single (lbr, the timing isn't right yet considering what's on the charts now, July/August might be a better time). 

Do you think her flop team can get her out of bed to do at least that?

I think it would be enough if she just sang something at Piece Of Me once the shows start again, or at least sing over prerecorded vocals, but we all know it's not something that is likely to happen...

It's not the only way to put it to rest. And if she did that and was good, people would say it was just autotuned live or done with pre recorded vocals. But Britney should start having pre recorded vocals for POM.

 

As I posted on the other site I would do the following:

 

-Release a video of her in the studio recording Alien in a good natural sound voice. Or have her release a video of her singing the song to her boys (since that would be cute and would kind of look unstaged).

 

-Release the song to radio. Have it up as an itunes single with both the single mix and it's studio acapella.

 

-Release a Lyric Video as soon as possible. And then a Video.

An acoustic live album featuring new songs and some of her hits would be amazing. We know she can pull it off, just check the acoustic fanmade versions with raw vocals. Now that would take everyone by surprise and make a huge impact.

exactly  , instead of releasing greatest hits or remixes albums they should do an acoustic album (with DVD), i know her voice brakes a little sometimes but with the right arrangements on the songs she can pull it out perfectly, i really hopes this happens someday

I have hope too. I think that the old formula is almost over for her. We saw it coming with "Femme Fatale" and we had it confirmed with "Britney Jean". She still has something to prove, and it is for the general public to know that she can sing. And it's a shame that 15 years into her career she still needs to prove that. I really hope she proves everyone wrong once and for all, and hopefully soon.

Well,people keep telling themselvs she has nothing to prove(and she doesn't in theory) but she needs to stand up for herself more and chnge the game for God's sake.

 

How can her team not see that a live performance (on the vma for example) would change things so much,simple as that.

Is like they forgot about her and think "she's BRITNEY SPEARS,her name alone will do the rest"... She's still an active artist and should act like one.

a live performance would be awesome,we (the fans) like simple stuff...sure we love when she does all the craziness on stage,but the most lovingmoments were the simple ones in the fan base
