"dry vocals" is more "pure" than "lead vocals" LV is the vocals ready for the mix, dry vocals are just the best takes that she recorded... without any or much edit... is a stronger voice. Obviously the instruments other than the vocals are different, I am not discussing that. The pure vocal tracks are not the same from the OP to your first quote. The sonic differences are in the production between the two. Your quote has more reverb for one, and the mixing & EQ is certainly different
