JoshLee Posted July 11, 2014 #26 Report Posted July 11, 2014 I actually think she sounds good in most of the recording
AlienBitch. Posted July 11, 2014 #27 Report Posted July 11, 2014 Your singing voice changes all the time, like I remember when I could sing tbh Britney isn't an amazing singer, but she's good - her voice is unique and I personally love her voice.
pplamenr Posted July 11, 2014 #28 Report Posted July 11, 2014 IKR? I used to be good at singing and now I can only do playback Same.
werkit89 Posted July 11, 2014 #29 Report Posted July 11, 2014 We all know that Britney's no autotune song Alien leaked its surface onto the internet a couple of days ago. The song showed Britney's voice without having any autotune in the recording. William Orbit then commented on the song when it leaked and he said "it was just a warm up demo and Britney was just warming up her vocals". The comment William Orbit did not stop any of the media still bashing our girl Britney on her voice and also still making it trend worldwide. Everyone needs to understand that our voices change ever 10 years. Everyone in life goes through changes it is just a part of life. Yes, we do miss that Britney Spears sexy voice, but everyone needs to understand that we are all human and bodies are always gonna change. We just want you to know Britney, we love you no matter what and your voice is always going to be beautiful to the Britney army, no matter what anything the media says about this song with 'no autotune' leaking. This song is very meaningful to a lot of people and we are always thankful for any music you have recorded for us. Thanks to this leaking though Alien has been rising on the charts!! We hope for a third single!!! In case you did not here the recording without the autotune it is listed below. It really is not bad at all and like William orbit said IT WAS JUST A WARM UP -KingAnthony Read the full story here if it was the warm up where is the one they used for the album without ??
Thelegendarybritney Posted July 11, 2014 #30 Report Posted July 11, 2014 this is so true , she is just a human like the rest of us , voice can change over time , i don't even sound like i used to 4 years ago , not to mention 15 years of slayage like Britney , we still love this girl no matter what , and i bet a lot of singers sound bad in the recording room . This is still a flawless song
Dragneel Posted July 11, 2014 #31 Report Posted July 11, 2014 I don't know what to say about the original post... I know that you are trying to defend Britney but you just admitted that she can't sing as well as she used to because her voice changed...? If Britney recorded this and she was flat and off in the first part then why would they take this and autotune it instead of making her record the first part again? The warm up makes more sense if you think it that way, doen't it??? p.s. It's sad how even her fans that know her soooo well got affected by this negativity and started doubting her...What do you expect by the gp then?
Sabanoble Posted July 11, 2014 #32 Report Posted July 11, 2014 The funny thing Britney doesn't even sing!! She doesn't practice her vocals to improve or challenge herself. She hasn't sang live in years, doesn't do sound check before shows - I mean nothing. She goes into the studio "sings" gets edited and bam we have a record. It's her fault. She simply doesn't give a fk She had a unique voice but if you don't rehearse practice take lessons challenge yourself, of course your voice is going to get shaky and gave short breath Don't forget she smokes and might also be in meds She needs to get back to her old self I'm sick of this lazy Britney
Maria Spears Posted July 11, 2014 #33 Report Posted July 11, 2014 She's still a good singer. One friend sent the link to me via Google chat, "I hope you have nightmares." I simply replied, "Heard that shit days ago. She's still my boo! *waves*" Then the following day, I noticed it was trending on Facebook, etc. It's a shame how quick people can be to insult Britney when she's one of the sweetest people in the industry. She's no powerhouse, i.e. Whitney Houston, but she has a unique voice and an incredible performer. No one can ever take that away from her or from her millions of fans worldwide. Omg you are so sweet
Corona Posted July 11, 2014 #34 Report Posted July 11, 2014 People who are hating on her don't think. She's a natural Contralto singer singing in the Soubrette vocal range without a vocal warm-up. Of course if she's going to sing in a voice range outside of her natural range it's going to crack and break with a cold voice. Her voice just was breaking because without a warm-up it does that in the bridge between your chest voice and your head voice. That's all it was. If she took a good 20-30 min warm-up, that wouldn't have happened and it would have been a smooth transition. She sounds just like any singer who hasn't sung in a while. Your vocal cords are muscles, just like any other muscles they need to be warmed up to perform their best. Just like an athlete needs to warm-up before a game, or else they won't perform to the best of their abilities either. People are taking this way out of proportion. Plus there are so many other audio tracks of her singing with a raw voice with a warm-up that sound fantastic, so I don't know what the big deal about one not so good one is. I agree I used to be in Musicals and if I didn't warm up I would sound off key as well. Also, if Britney was wearing a headset for the playback that also may have thrown her off. Britney has been singing for most of her life and is allowed to be off key once in awhile.
WOMANIZER Posted July 11, 2014 #35 Report Posted July 11, 2014 um.......the producer confirmed its real? You can hear autotune. Besides, he didn't even know that his version isn't on the album, but the one Will.i.am produced after him.
