Well, it was being discussed by EVERYONE already

What difference does it make for them to do or not do it? At least it higlight-ed it in the right way: the paparazzi are the bad guys, not Britney

They can make a show about whatever and however they'd like but for me personally despite the message it wasn't handled tastefully. Which I knew going in to watching something from South Park that it wouldn't have been

I love how her body looks on-point really, but they still says she's fat 

 

Also, funny how they say she's fat when her fucking head is blown off

 

I personally think they handled the situation well: south park style

The whole point of that head blown off imagery was that people would still be wanting more from her even if she was on death's door. That episode was about the fact that the media and its viewership were literally killing her and didn't care. The critique was on them, not Britney.

they did the episode showing how the media and the people were going at her during that time, of course it was exaggerated just a bit but it wasn't that far from the truth

 

people who were offended by this episode are either ignorant or stupid, cuz this episode actually defended Britney which a lot of 'fans' seem to not do anymore
