We don't know how strict the limitations actually are in the contract but it seems to me like this quote was answering the question referring to the fact that she won't be allowed to do concerts or tours outside of vegas or especially the US, because they assume the questioner is asking about her possibly having appearances in other cities and what not. But who knows if this limitation actually extends towards promo purposes like award shows. It might be an exception..*shrug* we don't know.

Doesn't mean it's wrong either. Fact is, that quote you posted can be interpreted in a multitude of ways. We don't actually know if she is allowed to perform in an award show setting until we see a copy of her contract uploaded to the internet. Up until then, it's all speculation.

I disagree. The way he phrased his answer sounded like he was referring to fan concerts and tours. Awards shows may be in a different category because it's more of a promo event than an actual "concert performance". and i know that in contracts, they often have clauses detailing exceptions to the case so like I said, in the end neither of us will know for certain until we see the actual contract.

She doesn't need to prove anyone wrong. Her singing skills have been criticised since the beginning of her career. That's not going to change. Even if she sang Perfume live and slay it people would still say she's lip-syncing or deny the fact she has a good voice. Beating a dead horse tbh.
