Like when she's said in interviews how "monotonous" it is to do the older hits and how they're mainly performed for the fans That may be true, but jeez don't make it sound like we're sucking the fun out of everything. I'm sure a lot of artists say that, doesn't mean I have to like hearing it. I totally understand her when she says that, just like when I understand that she may be ready to retire when Vegas is over. That doesn't mean I *want* her to retire just like I don't want her (or any of my favorite artists) to be bored while entertaining the fans. Of course, what I want doesn't matter. I was just talking. it got me so pissed off when she said she was so tired of performing sometimes and crazy, you haven't performed sometimes in 11 years and crazy in 9, wtf are you saying.....

the irony is she actually looks like she really enjoys herself during lucky and stronger

Yeah, I get that she gets bored, but come on Brit Comments like that rub me the wrong way, tbh. I don't think people who get paid millions to dance and sing get to complain but SO much.

yeah i get you, i personally don't understand her though. if i was a pop icon like her i would LOVE performing my classic hits, it would make me feel so legendary

Ikr. If I had hundreds of millions of dollars I'd perform like it was my last performance every time. But maybe that's because I don't understand what it's like to be famous (which I don't, but still). Yeah celebs and famous artists have their hard times (Britney had some of the hardest), but sometimes they act like they're doing work harder than surgery while surgeons don't even make as much as celebs do. Imma get called out for being "negative", but oh well And @ crossing out the sing. Sad but true.

She likes Lucky though. She said it recently cos she got to play lots of different characters with a real storyline. And she's never said she dislikes Stronger. She wasn't referring to any of these. They didn't need to include Lucky and Stronger. They didn't chart all that well so it was their choice.

I think people need to take three things into account:

She doesn't like cheesy pop songs like Sometimes and Crazy. She likes gritty songs (Journey, Adele, Madonna, Janet, Michael) so why would she want to perform them. It's not her type of music

It was 6 years after Crazy and Sometimes were released that she said she didn't like them. Would you like a song that you made 6 years ago that you'd performed on practically every tour. No. I mean it's not like they're legendary like BOMT.

It was a time where her image was crafted to point. She was a creation of her label and management. I'd hate to do songs like that where I wasn't myself at all.

Maybe I'm only sympathising with her cos I want to be a performer but I completely agree with her. I'd be like that if I was an artist. It's not like theyre iconic songs anyway.

I have performed many Shows and you do get tired of performing the same act all the time. Because it is a routine. Same blocking not much room for variation. Britney is an Artist who loves to continue to reinvent herself. Britney always does have a habit of saying things the wrong way. I am sure she was meaning she does her old routines out of love for her Fans.
