Watching old Britney interviews. It really didn't hit me until now.

I loved the 2013 interviews! But I don't get the same feeling as back in 01-03. Or anything prior to 2007. And like I said, I understand the reasoning. But let's not get negative and attacking just when people are stating their mind in a logical way.

Cause that is the real me, honayyy. ;)

Imo she still the same, there are tons of interviews from 1998 to 2002-3 where she's exactly the same as now, she just seems more mature now which is normal because she's not a teenager anymore. Though i think she was fake around 2003-2004, for example there's an interview with jimmy kimmel i think in 2003, she seemed so fake and superficial, like a person who wants all the attention, i just hated when she was like that tbh.

I truly believe Justin made her more outgoing. She did take on loads of his mannerisms where she used to say 'man' a lot in the same accent he did e.g. 'I don't know man'. And if you watch the 'love can build a bridge' performance at the church in '93/4 in the 7 minute version, you can see her awkwardness as a child that she wrote about in 2007. Up until Justin she was kinda goofy with her use of cool, funky and other words which is the exact same today. watch the interview where she's got a purple top on (I think it's time out with Britney Spears) she's the exact same as she is now. And in loooooaaads of interviews she's practically pursing her lips. But when she met Justin she started acting goofy e.g. 'You can call me Brit' and all the other goofy stuff. Then she lost it after Kevin.

She's so lively in this interview. I love it! :crying1:

Aside from the Chatty Man Interview, UK Interviews were great. I think the UK brings the best out of Britney, as far as interviews go. As you noticed they just chatted and Britney was just fine. I think it is when Interviewers get personal Britney gets nervous and freezes. And we all know American Interviewers love to get personal instead of just chat. I am an American but I have lived "Across The Pond" as well.

Funny, I feel like crying watching her answer the same stupid questions over and over, and everytime watching her have to act like it's the first time she is being asked the question.. She really put up a good facade back then, it's easy to see she sometimes faked being full of life, it was just a way with coping things, playing a PR game where you have to actu giddy and happy.. I think she is much more true to herself now, and it's nice she shows her real mood.

Beginning of the ITZ era you could really start to see how fed up she was with the media. She started having a harder time hiding it, or simply stopped giving a fuck.

Ya I believe Britney is comfortable and can hold a conversation when it's not with someone in the media. :mhm: I'd rather have her retire and be happy than in the industry tbh; it would make me happier :crying1:

I would rather have her fans just accepting Britney does whatever the fuck she wants, and she won't be under pressure from our High hopes and expectations, that way she can do her fucking job, make music and perform when she wants..

when there is a boring interview everybody says is britney fault but we don't know:

-how many hours has she been given interviews

-if all the interviewers have been asking the same questions

-if she is in a bad or good mood (specially when you have kids, if one is sick you can help it but to worry about it all day)

is not always her fault but i think if the interviewer comes with good questions and a great attitude she may get it from them and give a good interview

anyways thats what i think

yes and she always said that the worst part  of what she does is the promo and interviews so :bomt: and what mood you are in and everything :lips1:

I think the real reason interviews are boring for us now is because the interviewers aren't allowed to ask anything too controversial or personal (not like it's our business but I am just saying). I don't think she has changed but there really isn't much of a chance for her to show us much of her personality when the questions are all pre-determined and the same in every interview. There isn't really anything that throws her off guard or makes her think. There's no passion, it's like groundhogs day every day. :boring:

Watch the BJ interviews. This isn't the FF era any more. 90% of a mass of interviews were interesting and had personality. And it wasn't because the interviews have to ask the same question, it's fear that the interview will try and put her on the spot and she'll be slow to respond or not want to respond the way people want her to, so get negatively judged and called a bunch of names because of it.

BTW, Interviews every era ask the same questions over and over and over. People just want to ask her questions about the breakdown and why she has changed over the years that she doesn't want to answer. It get her years to talk about her Anxiety.

Oh I know what you mean. Like that Dianne Sawyer interview when she was asking everything personal about Britney and bashing the hell out of her back in '03. :4music: I like UK interviews. They're entertaining. Britney's been great in interviews this era! I'm glad. :crying1:

she has been nervous in interviews before too and kind of bored, out of it but yes it's gotten so much worse. actually watching old interviews, performances the other day made me realize that liveney is gone (like the vmas omg) has been over. like parts of her career. for example, when there was a new era, she attended conferences about her albums, did soo many interviews, tv performances, mannny peformances, had cute outfits, like really alive and enjoying herself. now, it is all gone. it kind of made me realize she's been over with so many things in her career and it made me so sad. i dont kno if they are gone for good cuz i kno those parts of her can still come out, they are capable of coming out but idk if she's already made a permanent decision to not bring the old times back.

THIS

I always said that her ITZ persona was fake a lot of times and was trying to be someone who wasn't her or just didn't fit in anymore

Let's be real, Jennifer Lawrence's publicity team sits her down and watches 3 hours of 1999ney-2005ney interviews everyday to prep her :tbh:

THIS. I think J-Law is a little bit fake and overrated.

I think Britney gives the best interviews when she is confortable. But i do think the media affected her personality, she's always been shy but i dont think that when she was younger she was s shy as now. Obviously i don't know her (wish i did :crying1: ) but you can tell because of the way she was in interviews and public events.

I agree she has changed a little

but if you look at some interviews during 2003 she says the exact same thing as she does now

"cool" "a lot of fun"
