Is This How Haters/Doubters/Some People See Britney?

I don't know why but this comment makes me think how narrow-minded people can be when it comes to hating on Britney. Is this all they can come up with?

I know I shouldn't get worked up over something so petty like this but is this how the haters and the public see her? 

 

It's sad but it's really interesting to see how their perspective looks like...

She's not good at anything besides being born pretty, being pretty good at dancing, and catching a lucky career break. She can't sing particularly well (it used to be difficult to find clips of her that weren't already pitch corrected in a studio that she lip-synched to live, but you can find said clips pretty easily now, and trust me, she doesn't have anywhere near the singing talent of any of her contemporaries), can't dress herself, she's dumb as a brick, and she has no charisma. The only reason you like her is because you're nostalgic, she's pretty, she can dance, and she had a tight team of Swedish producers writing most of her songs and lyrics for her and making her voice sound a lot better than it actually is. She and her publicist were also pretty talented at spinning her into a likable person, which she isn't. There are a number of pop stars today who are equally good or better than her at everything she does.

Ranting time :

Britney is better than being "pretty good" at dancing. Unlike someone like Beyonce, you can see where Britney has technical training (flexibility, pirouettes, has the arm movements of a graceful ballet dancer, can do multiple styles, etc.) Autotune can't help but so much and anyone who says she can't sing needs to just listen to BOMT and OIDIA albums. Her voice is in fact beautiful even if it's taken some damage. And Britney has more stage presence in one strand of hair than most other popstars do in their entire bodies (see Rihanna, Miley, Selena, and Gags). She is not dumb either. She graduated from high school and is quite knowledgeable in music, singing, and dancing (seeing as that is her CAREER. She's a performer, not a teacher or rocket scientist).

Britney isn't perfect but she is nowhere near as bad as some people make her out to be.

And yes, this is exactly the case. That or else they for some reason are too embarrassed to admit that they actually like Britney, so they have to over exaggerate to try to convince themselves and others that they hate her. In my personal experience, these people will talk shit about her constantly and as soon as you get them drunk at a party and when you plug in your phone songs like Outta This World come on and they know every single word and you're just like wtf
