About charity? I mean, I really appreciate people like madonna and michael jackson... that does/did A LOT for other people. I mean, madonna... when she's not doing music... she's ALWAYS in a human project... like this year... she was at the grammys, not to promote her music, but to promote her HUMAN PROJECT... and thats really beautiful... she also goes to africa... made 10 schools in there... adopt a child... donated money... Same for angeline jolie... I don't even need to say about michael, right? Even soffered a lot... he never stopped helping anothers, caring... Same for lindsay... Katy Perry and Rihanna does a lot too... using their influence to help...

I remember britney made a camp... but it failed... she visit some hospital sometimes like 3/4 times? But compared to others... And you see, I'm NOT talking about businesses... I'm talk about coming from the heart, just like michael, madonna... katy... Not about gaga... I'm talking about using your influence and money to help others... doing great things... caring about the world. And I think it should just be AMAZING... something like this coming from her... But she doesn't seem to care about these stuff :/ I mean all about she says about gay people is: "I love my gay guys"... and thats it... she doesn't make any project... or help doing real things with her influence, power and money...

And you see guys I'm NOT crucifying her... I'm just saying it should be AMAZING to see her doing these things... and I really appreciate who does.  :)

Are we just copying Exhale threads now?

Is the first thread from there that I made '-' and with my own words... I just discuss a lot about it in there... and I thought it would be interesting to bring the subject.  :tea2:

I'm completely sure that Britney helps people but she doesn't like to use the press for do that, she doesn't do charity to help to her image like other bitches do  :4music:

I kinda get what you're saying :thinkingpinky: But Britney is a caring, generous person. Who knows what she's done away from cameras? Nowadays, she just doesn't seem to want any extra attention, so if she did/does some charity it may not be made public.

This is true. But I do wish Britney would get a little more involved in charity things.

But there are a lot of artist that do that and i am sure that Britney isn't like that, she is a reserved person, she doesn't like to rejoice about those kind of things

But how do we know that she's not involved in charity things? Just because is not in the gp?  :frenchy:

Lol exhell thread

I'd love if Britney did something like that, but charity is honestly a bandaid solution for Africa. Without getting too much into my beliefs, there's something wrong with the system itself :) Even all of Britney's 200 million dollars wouldn't be enough to give them sustainable development. She could probably like start a small business there to employ them, but she'd practically have to give her life up for that

I'd rather she start something big in the US instead or something :)

britney has done many charity things multiple times. and her camp didnt fail, it ran for quite some time before closing, and shes visited children WAY more than just 3-4 times.  :zoomzoom: shes a very generous person, just because she hasnt gone to africa doesnt mean her efforts arent worthwhile.

You've seen Britney donating in the streets, you've seen Britney going to hospitals and she sure donated several times for such companies etc, I don't really see your point.

Britney is the most down to earth celebrity you can meet.

Britney doesn't control her finances. So she has no control over what charities she can help. Her camp failed not because of her it is all having to do with people who control her money. Britney gets an allowance to live off of against her Estate.

i appreciate the fact that the things britney does for charity are in private and not to gain popularity/attention like all the people you've just mentioned. that's the TRUE definition of charity in my opinion. not to do it to benefit yourself, but to benefit someone else.

I'm sorry but what's it got to do with you. She's a lovely, giving person. Thats a fact. What isn't a fact is what she does behind closed doors. Who the fuck are you to say she should do that, and she should do this? I'm sorry but this is turning right into exhell.

I think this place would be a lot healthier if people got a job where they work 5 times a week for at least 7 hours each day at 17. Then you might focus on yourself in your free time and have less time to judge and scrutinise your idol.

I know she had the foundation for the performing arts for a while, and word on the street is she gave a TON of money for 9/11 relief, but did it under the radar, just to take the focus away from herself, in the same vein as someone who donates money anonymously, I suppose. If I recall, she did a lot for Louisiana when Katrina hit, but again kept it low-key. Idk, I'm sure there are a lot of things she does behind the scenes that she would rather keep private. We know how humble and giving she is :). She doesn't seem like the type to flaunt it. (Not knocking those who are more vocal about their charity.)

that conversation got beat to shit

dont wanna rehash it

no popstar celebrity is a political activist...end of story...they visit for a day or less, not even sure if they "work", probably dont know the politics and history of whereever they are, take pix, and spend the night in a resort while dressing to the T in designer fashion while promoting anti-poverty...

they are not bad or saints...they are probably experiencing rich guilt...it's a nice gesture, but do not call them saints. Madonna is good at looking like she cares, but she is a good businesswoman first. Watch her early interviews, she knows exactly what she is doing. Celebs can tweet all they want, but no tweet ever stopped a bullet from a gun, or solved humanities struggles.

Be real...its obvious
