Mr American Dream Posted July 18, 2014 #1 Report Posted July 18, 2014 I'm a fan of Britney since 2011 and till 2013 I hadn't visited britneyspears.com, but when I did in 2013 I got disappointed. I mean, they used to upload videos with Brit when she is out, behind-the-scenes videos and etc.. Can somebody keen on this tell me what happened to the site, because they stopped uploading videos and right now it is a crap? We have britney.com, but I'd like to hear the truth about this one. Not saying she's not allowed to use the Internet, it's just that her handlers are probably scared of her posting about something they wouldn't want us to now. That's my theory. 6

The court gave control to her father, Jamie. Her managers and team have say in what she does too. Back when Brit was with Jason, they made him a co-conservator since he was going to become her husband. The c-ship also has it so Britney doesn't have to deal with court drama and lawsuits. Also, she cannot have full custody of her boys. Although, I think that lately Britney has been getting more control of her personal life. (Correct me if I'm wrong, somebody) 1

What they don't seem to realize is that bad management, a mediocre album, zero promotion, and just an all around lack of effort could ruin Britney's legacy too. Like with the Alien autotune mess, did they take control of the situation? No. They did nothing and let a number of people shit talk her.

We just have to wait till Brit gets her life in her hands again, including her career.

Back in 2008 there was the comeback hype so they were doing everything they could to promote a "happy, healthy, back on her game" Britney. Now that's over and honestly they don't care as much keeping her website updated when things like twitter and Instagram are more popular. That combined with the fact I really don't think Britney wants to invest time in the internet when she's busy living her (private) life 3

Use Britney.com instead, that is her official music site.. Britneyspears.com is just her official personal site.
