It still better than many other artist's hit singles tho Chillin' with you is BJ's soda pop just as My Baby is circu's soda pop and Brave new girl is ITZ's soda pop

Didn't even match the overall vibe of ITZ.

I know it's to give it that cheesy sound, but it results so annoying, because it doesn't sound natural. With an Out from Under voice it would sound better

Corona Posted July 19, 2014 #46 Report Posted July 19, 2014 So I was cleaning my apartment/doing my laundry listening to Slaycus Circus when I got to My Baby, and I remembered all the hate it gets. To me it's such an emotional, personal ballad Britney did. It was a period in her life where she almost lost her babies, and decided to make a song about them. It's almost like the prelude to Brightest Morning Star. The instrumental is fantastic in my opinion. It sounds so different, and the piano, guitar, everything just works perfectly. I guess it may be because of Britney's voice being so high. I actually think that is good, it shows her vocal skills. She actually sings really well in that song. Why do you think so many people hate "My Baby"? Is it her voice? Is it "I smell your breath, it makes me cry"? I like the song for all the same reasons. I do believe she was singing about her kids. Shows the many emotional layers of Britney.
