I don't know about your taste but I would very much like Britney to make hip-hop music (I prefer the beat, the melody, the rhythm...only, not rap). It's very pity that there aren't much of them, aside from MATM and Boom Boom, both of which are my favorite from ITZ. They sound very cool and funky and from my perspective, Hip-Hop and Britney are a perfect match in terms of the style and vocals!

So, would you like Britney to incorporate more Hip-Hop elements into her music? I also very appreciate you to recommend me some tracks (Britney's unreleased ones or by anyone else) that have them only (I don't like rap music). Thanks a lot! :)

I want her to give her old bubblegum pop sound a modern twist. But yes, MATM seemed like a good direction for her to be heading artistically, but the GP wasn't here for it that much.

The GP can't be trusted to have good judgement... MATM is a great song.

I disagree...well, I agree that hip-hop elements are fine...but I don't want a BO 2.0 or a completely hip-hop album...it would be disingenuous and kind of an obvious marketing move after BJ.

Ultimately I'd much rather her go for an indie pop vibe (which would of course incorporate some hip-hop)...I think she should focus on deeper more, intelligent, creative, unique  music that doesn't repeat the same old song and dance, or limit itself to a single genre. Also, I think pop/dance music is far too sample-based and electronic in production and desperately needs real instruments and band supporting a more raw & human sound. Pop music needs a jolt, and rehashing whats been done for the past 10 yrs more or less is not gonna be good for the status of pop as we know it...it needs to be redefined, and the real breakthroughs in music come from outside of the corporate pop world.

She should focus on being artistic rather than mass appeal...because her legacy already has chart-domination and numbers on it's side, so real heart-felt artistic music would further her legacy more, and ultimately draw in a new crowd. I wanna see her push envelopes and be creative.

besides I have a problem w how this fanbase perceives the word "urban"... when something is described as urban-inspired, it really could mean so many things that the definition is vague. Just like the word "personal", I think the fanbase seems to have some preconceived notions and derives too much meaning from her interviews and what her team says. Urban radio takes on so many sounds

I agree, Im not into hiphop at all, probably why ITZ is my least favorite album. I love her bubblegum pop :)
