- "Circus" is Britney's single with the most promotional CD from the U.S., in fact they are 4!

- During the promotion of "Circus" it was released in Japan and in USA a megamix releated to the album called "Beat The Leak Megamix" with 6 of the most beautiful tracks of the album \"Circus\"

- During the era of "Circus", the singles were printed with an increasing delay respect to their actual release in radio and television, except in Australia where the singles appeared on the market a week after the release of the music clip. The ridiculous thing was that the "If U Seek Amy" single was published in the land of kangaroos a week before the release of "Circus" single in Taiwan!

- "If U Seek Amy" was censored so that the letter "K" was eliminated from the word "seek" to avoid that the spelling would lead to understanding the true meaning of the title (fuck me). So it came out, "If U See Amy", as it was printed in some promotional CDs, like the UK ones.

- After that "Radar" was released as a single from "Circus" album, in Colombia it was printed a beautiful and limited golden box containing both "Blackout" and "Circus" and to avoid a repeat of the track, \"Radar\" was removed from the tracklist of "Blackout" that turned out with only 11 tracks.

- "If U Seek Amy" was so successful in Brazil that 4 promotional cd were released containing every possible remix!

- "Out From Under" was supposed to be extracted as the third single from "Circus", but Britney refused. Some people say because it was a cover, and others because it was a ballad, but the fact is that Britney refused and insisted she released "If U Seek Amy"

- "Mannequin" was seriously considered  as the fifth and final single of the album, since the tour was extended, but that didn't happend because they opted to produce the "The Singles Collection" that would soon bring ta  new single into the market.

- In Australia, at first, there was a clear opposition to "Radar" on the radio beacause they already played the single year before as a single from "Blackout". They thought to release as a single "Shattered Glass" or ''Unusual U'' but at the end they decided not promote any fourth single from "Circus".

- In Japan the deluxe edition of the album wasn't printed until it was released the "Circus" music video, which was later added as a bonus content of the DVD from the "Circus Deluxe Edition" released in February 2009.

- DJ Junkie XL confimerd in August 2008 that the album was originally scheduled ti be teleased in April 2009, as Britney said in the OK Magazine interview.
During a radio interview in July 2008, Lady Gaga, who has worked on two songs for the album, also said that the album probably wouldn\'t be released until mid-2009.
Rodney \"Darkchild\" Jerkins, who has also worked with Britney on some material for the album which wasn\'t released, said that this would be released in early 2009.
So we can deduce that the Jive insisted very much to anticipate the album.

- The spoken intro of "Kill The Lights", made by Danja, is actually taken from a real report of an American radio in 1938 which recited: "ladies and gentlemen, we interrupt our program of dance music to bring you a special bulletin of the intercontinental radio news".
The producer also confirms that the background noise at the beginning of the track is as close as possible to the real background of the bulletin.

- The decision to call the album "Circus" was made even before the complete tracklist of the album. A official from Zomba said in a popular forum that Britney wanted to re-record the chorus of "Circus" which appeared different from the demo to refine and define the tracklist of the project that had already that name.

- Lady Gaga, who co-wrote "Quicksand", said that she should had to record the track for the incision that Britney should have record, but since she was on tour, Lady Gaga said she could not get it .

- The reason that "Radar\ appared both in "Blackout" and in "Circus" is caused by the fact that Jive Records had initially signed a contract with the producers Boodshy & Avant to make this song a single from "Blackout".
When the plans to release it as a single have been cancelled  Jive Records to avoid to violating the contract and to compensate the Swedish duo, decided to put "Radar" in "Circus" as a temporary bonus track that would be definitely extracted as a single.
In fact, \"Radar\" was sold by the producers to Jive for a price lower than desired because Jive assured that it would have been released as a single from the album (\"Blackout\"), hence more dales, more rights for authors aka more money,

- The horse that starred in the "Radar" music video passed away in April 2012 after a fatale injury on the set of "Luck" (R.I.P.)

- The circus tour was planned to go to Mexico and South America but 80% of the arenas where not able to hold the stage and the idea of the ring center... and adapting the stage for the arena was very expensive.

-Andre Fuentes (main chorepgrapher) from Womanizer Circus, The promo and the mannequin rehersal was fired on January after he had a fight with Jamie, after he was cought somoking weed and he didn't want to sign the contract of no hard party or alcohol during the tour

- Britney used wig for the album photoshoot, womanizer video, circus video and iff u seek amy video doe to her visible extensions.

-In fact they filmed all the circus tour and was planned for a dvd release but Jive couldn't release it due to copyrigths... there was fiming dates, in LA, Las Vegas, Paris, London and New Orleands, the DVD was rumerod to be all part from Paris and other sources say from LA or the O2 arena

- Teresa LaBarbera Whites Circus Executive producer was planned and almost hired for album 7 (Femme Fatale) but she left Jive after 7 years to work with another label..

- Larry was fired in 2007 (most of the britney team) but since Britney was under control of Jamie, he hired him back and he is the one who pushed circus, womanizer as a first single, all the promo, all the songwriters, the documental... everything

- Mannequin, Mmm Papi and Kill The Lights where considered for the Tour (1st leg)

-Kill The Lights is not a single or a promo, it was part of the Britney.com promo

i love these things, they're so interesting! thank you for doing all the research

interesting about KTL,MP, and mannequin. idk why they didn't put them on the setlist. it was such a terrible setlist. the songs might be liked by us but it made no sense

they only performed 4 songs off the album she was touring for, put WAY too many songs from blackout, leaving out the actual successful songs from the album (gimme more, bti) she  put fillers like ooh baby, hot as ice, freakshow, get naked, etc

she should have done crazy oops stronger etc and more songs from circus, plus the blackout singles
