I kinda like Ariana Grande, but I hate Break Free. It's so painfully generic, it doesn't serve her well at all. I'm happy for Hilary, I didn't know she was performing! Iggy will be fun to watch, and Sia's vocals are reliable.

 

Still, I can't help but feel this will be a pretty underwhelming VMAs

vma has been boring since 2012, like no britney no hype. really, vma got more tweets back when britney was nominated, the whole world was expecting some fierce competition or surprising results. i do think people are PLEASED to see Britney in any awards ceremony, it's like: wow! something big/my idol is here, this night's gonna be so much fun, like everyone will let loose of themselves.
