My dad couldn't recognize 2014ney

I put this picture  as a background on my Desktop. My dad came in and starred watching me surfing the Net when he suddenly saw the picture and said:
Dad: "Who's this?"
Me: "Umm.. Britney Spears?"
Dad: "No, that's not true. That's not Britney Spears."
Me: "Dad, I'm telling you this IS Britney Spears."
Dad: "No way, her eyes are different, her lips, her nose and her cheeks are totally different. That's not Britney Spears."
And he left the room.   I was like Two things made me think after this situation:
1) Did she actually change something from her face? I can recognize her because I am a stan but what about the normal people?
2) Did my dad have a crush on Britney since he knew how her lips, her eyes, her nose and her cheeks were looking?

I think the pose and makeup are different and she doesn't look like 'normal' Britney     do you remember this photo from twitter with Stage Fantasy? she doesn't look like herself  as well

You're right. I don't like to complain when it comes to Britney and since we have such a sexy photo but it's not 'normal' Britney as you said and that's strange, like, reaaaally strange for Britney. The way she's looking at the camera, the hair, the make-up and the Photoshop, not to mention that the way she tries to be sexy on those recent photos looks so fake and so not Britney. Compare it to this pic:

I've always wondered how does "normal people" see Britney. As you say, I recognize her because I'm a fan, but let's say, all those persons who apparently think Britney is still trapped in 2007 without hair, maybe they don't even recognize Currentney, or FFney or XFactorney. I know people's face change as one grows up, but we all know Britney had a radical change in her face after Circus era.

I had become a fan following FF and hadn't seen Britney in months/a year until BJ promo interviews started. And at first I was like Is that you, Britney??

Her body is strectch vertically, it's lil bit too skinny, just look at her arm, skin texture is brushed, and the picture is really bright, so...

But she looks like herself. I mean, people usually don't really recognize celebes if they are not fans. I mean, they do, but for exmple, with Britney, people always remember thins from the past and how she looked 10 years ago, so...

Mte. There's not as many professional photoshoots these days and a lot of we get is very edited. I don't know why especially seeing her candids and appearances where she is a complete knock out

well to tbh she's definitely had an eyelift (you can even compare her current pics to pics of her in 2010 and see how her eyelid area has grown larger due to the lift) and a potential nose job.  It's the eyelift that changed her the most though. Lots of stans want to deny she had anything done but guys come on, she's a star. Part of her job is to keep up her looks, how can you expect her not to not have tweaked something especially when she's very open about getting botox    And a lot of stans want to think we're "hating" when we mention that she's had some work done but it's the truth and there's nothing at all wrong with getting plastic surgery if that's what she wants to do.

When I saw this pic first time I also thought that her face looks different. But I don't mean different if you compare her to Britney 10 years ago, but different from current Britney. And I just think that they use a little more photoshop on this pic, because in the recent candids she looks the same.
