In any case, have you not seen her interviews? Her documentaries? She very rarely talks about her past, and she only mentions her future when asked about it. She focuses on the present. She lives for now, because that's literally all you can do. Plus, whether or not she has mental issues or drug problems or any of that shit (which I personally don't believe), she's keeping herself sober. Most likely so she won't become an alcoholic like her father (Britney confirmed that when she was younger, Jamie was a pretty nasty drunk and scientists have proven that alcoholism is a genetic trait). And people who do attempt to stay sober usually go by AA guidelines and AA clearly states to take each day at a time. Maybe she's gone to a couple of meetings, or maybe Jamie's talked about it and it struck a chord with her. Who knows? Hell, I might even be projecting my own shit on Britney. But she seems like the type of girl who gives no fucks about her past. Except when it comes to memories of her beautiful boys, of course.
