Britney has been "famous" since she was 10 so no. And remember she was originally denied MMC at first only after they found out she was too young.

no never thought this she is the same age as justin and christina and the other people who joined that time. she was on star seach as well you would not be allowed to lie about your age on those programs as i'm sure they  would want to see your birth cert . and i don't think she had representation at that time to advise her to pretend she was younger why would they say a child is younger.

My god people just because Britney had some issues as well as started to think about her appearance a lot older than most celebrities doesn't mean she was or even looks older. Britney looks like a normal 32 year old. You all are just used to celebrities who start doing things to their appearances a lot younger than Britney.

In September of 2000 Britney was 18 and almost 19. She was still young but legal. Britney was 16 when BOMT single was released but she turned 17 that December so she was 17 for her 99 VMA performance with Nsync.
