To be honest, I don't understand why everybody here is so upset about the comparison. Britney's days as pop-princess are over, she has simply become too old for that. Next to that there is not much wrong with Ariana. Her presentation still needs to be improved, but she has on the other hand a better voice than Britney.

      Sorry BB but I don't agree on this one. Selena is cute but I don't think she's nearly as sexy or pretty as Godney. And she doesn't have huge hits or sell records like Britney. Britney was superstar icon status from her first album and single. 

 

Also HELLO she barely even DANCES!!     I mean she tries to dance but it looks very amateur. Kinda like when Rihanna Dances...TBH

 

Same goes for Miley, Xtina DANCES.. ..Miley not so much! Also Miley's voice isn't awful, but it's certainly doesn't compare with XTINA's.

Wtf???? so, michael jackson and madonna are too old to be the King and Queen of Pop???   Michael is dead and always will be  the King of Pop forever ,   so do not make me laugh ​  this is about  â€œlegacy â€, Britney won her Princess of Pop title , for her impact  on popular culture, her sales, her iconic performances   and for being an untouchable performance,   only her first single Baby one More Time is an before and after in the pop music topped  # 1 in every country that was released   .... it's a whole of things not only voice because Xtina for example could beaten britney when they were competing but she couldn't.

Any new Britney needs to be able to dance (more than cutesy, easy moves and two-steps), be an amazing performer and have an impact on the industry. Until that kind of artist comes along, then there is no new Princess of pop. There is no new Britney.

I think if there's ever gonna be another Britney, she must have to have success since her first single, just like Britney, and have multiple hits after that, just like Britney did, just to prove not to be another one hit wonder. Then we could talk about the next Britney. Ariana maybe the thing right now, but it's not like if this is her first single, she's been around for years now, and who knows how many years her success will last. (We'll have to wait and see ) The same with Miley, and all of them. They may be successful right now, but it's a different kind of career than Britney, and you may say, well, everyone is different, but I think not, I think current "pop sensations" have had the same kind of path on their careers, which can't be compared to Britney's (yet (or ever)).

I don't think there is a next/new Britney or Xtina yet (Probably never will be) ...

 

Pushing sexual boundaries is just one aspect of an artist so to base a comparison off of just one aspect seems kinda silly to me personally. I mean Rihanna also pushes sexual boundaries does that make her the next Xtina?
