I mean she doesn't dance she's just waking not doing much she seems to lost that fire and enrgy she once had so what do you think should we give up on hope that she will return to her former self or give her a chance share your thoughts

Yes, the old Britney will never be back. Past is past and you should be happy that Britney is still releasing music and touring after everything that happened to her.

Yeah she´ll never LITERALLY be the same person again

but fuck off

she´s not dancing like her prime

but she dances a lot, i saw the show live and she´s amazing

I´m proud of her, im not going to belittle her achievements

She´ll never be the person she was when she was 20, but she´s an amazing person still

7 posts and Ive seen this same comment 2x already by you

seriously, what does that even mean..."return to her former self"?

obviously the "old" never returns...its the old for a reason

the new is what is here now, get used to it...people grow, and it's a good thing she did, for her life away from the spotlight

if you are a Britney fan then you know she has an amazing legacy

in fact the "old" that you talk about, has soo much music and footage

...you could spend all day everyday for months and still not finish all her old material (videos, interviews, specials, performances) on youtube

Not again  :4music:  :4music:  :4music:  Please, go back to exhale with those threads. She's amazing, I don't care how she was back in the past because it is a history. I love her and I'm glad I fell in love with Brit during the Femme Fatale era because I'm not bitching like some fans of BArmy. I enjoy her 10 years ago but I'm happier when I see her performing now. So :D

Oh Lord.
She's not 16 anymore, people. People grow up and change. Are you the same as you were 10, 15 years ago?
She was a child back then. She's aged/matured, has different priorities.
People constantly compartementalize her into new, old, prime, etc...
She's just not a kid anymore. A 16 year old teenage girl and a 32 year old woman aren't going to have the same levels of energy. (and do go saying 'but what about Madonna and J-Lo, yadda yadda)
You have kids, your body changes, your horomones change. Every woman's body is different.
She is what she is now. She's still "Britney". That never went away.
People are just hanging on to the Britney of 99-04, aka the equivilant of a high school - college aged girl. She obviously wasn't going to stay that way forever.
I get fans' frustrations, I do, and obviously I can't offer any insight into her psyche or even begin to know what she went through, but I'll tell you, personally anyway, having had thought that she might not make it through 2007, I'm just so glad she's here, "Old Britney", "New Britney", whatever. I'm just glad she's here.

If anything, she's more mature and reserved (but in a way that shows her strength and growth). She's changed yes, but she'll always be Britney Spears. And with regards to her dancing, there are many reasons as to why it's not the same. But it's still good and better than any other popstar out right now. This year has been great and is going to get better, so let's all be happy.

It's tempting to get nit-picky with someone you care about as an artist, but yeah....no.

God I am so tired of hearing about "old Britney" and "new Britney". Britney Is Britney, she has changed (like everybody), but as the years have passed, and as I watch interviews and newer performances, i don't see that much of a difference.

MFTE!!! Preach it.

I honestly do think there'll be a day when Britney gets inspired again to create a really great record and promote it with a passion. And when/if that day comes, I'm happy that I'll be able to say that I stuck by Britney through everything and watched her get to that point. I didn't stop stanning because she started flopping or because she doesn't perform like she used to. I love her for the sweet, caring, humble person she is.

But on the flip side, if that day never comes and she retires after Vegas, I'll still be happy for her. After working her ass off for over 15 years she deserves to be a mom full time and take care of her kids, which is her true passion.

I can't say I don't miss the way she danced and had energy, but she seems fine now too tbh. FF era was horrible because of complete lack of dancing skills, but pom era slays, although she doesnt dance like back when she was 20, she still dances good. She set the standard and the high point, and although not even herself can reach it now, it is her that set it, and i dont need more than that. None of the current flops will never get even close to the way brit danced(s). She's fine the way she is now, id just like some more vocal skills on her thats all :)
