Morbid Topic, But I'm Curious: Do You Ever Wonder If Britney Will Die Young?

After reading about that american idol contestant that recently died. It got me thinking. What if Britney dies young. And I'm honestly scared that could actually happen. Here's why:

She's been in a stable place and mindset for the past 6 and a half years now. It's been 6 and a half years since she's had a huge scandal in the tabloids. It's been 6 and a half years since she was (allegedly) addicted to drugs. Britney was saved because she has a very strong southern dad who refused to let his daughter be killed by fame like so many other legends before her. and let's not sugarcoat it, people were expecting Britney to die in 2007. Even all the major media outlets had already typed out obituaries for her because they were awaiting the moment and wanted to be the first to put out the story. So it's reasonable to say, Britney was on the verge of death.

She overcame her struggles with the help of her father and being placed in a conservatorship. But that's the part that worries me. I'm sure that once she was placed in the conservatorship and calmed down they explained to her what kind of path she was on. And she probably already knew it. Being in those type of restraints was almost like being in jail for her. She even said it on for the record. She felt like she was in jail. Well, when people are in jail it gives them time to reflect on their life and see their mistakes. I think when For the record was being filmed, Britney was in that process. She was still resistant to the conservatorship, and wanted to be free. But at the same time she was starting to see what a mess her life actually was.

I think during 2011 and 2012 she was seriously over everything. Which explained her "no-personality" behavior. I think she probably expected to be free again after the circus tour. And when that didn't happen, she probably had another meltdown behind closed doors. She seemed scared during that era. Like every time we saw her it was like she was trying to keep it together and hide what was happening behind closed doors.

Now that she's in vegas, I think she is actually happy with how things are going. She has more freedom now since we see her out in public by herself more often and she just seems overall more happy. But I feel like after all these years (6 and a half) of being this retrained, she probably has a lot of built up anxiety and energy. This built up anxiety is what scares me, because it could explode.

Her children (if she doesn't have another one) will grown in just a short decade. Of course she will always love them and wanna be there for them, but they will be at an age where they are going off to college and trying to live their OWN lives and not just being "Britney Spears' sons". So they will probably seperate themselves from her a little bit just so they can breathe and see what a normal life feels like.

The whole point of this long ass story is, I feel like with her being so controlled over the last 6 and a half years, it's definitely building up something inside of her. It does seem lately she has been coping with it better, so hopefully it can stay that way and won't go back to her being miserable again. Because if that happens again, she will definitely reach her limit. Everyone does at some point. And that could and probably would be the death of her.

Sad stuff.

I honestly think she'll live out a nice older life and will shy away from the spotlight gradually, remaining a constant presence thru her formidable legacy without all the public committment of a pop neophyte (see: Bowie, Aretha, Celine, etc.)

The only time I was afraid of the worst happening to her, was back in 2007.

It would be terrifying, but I think she'll be here for many many years. I think she'll die when she's 80-95 or even more. I know money can't buy you immortality, but it sure helps with diseases or stuff, so I don't think she'll have troubles with that. About her psychologic issues, well, I really think she's getting better, I actually think she've been fine since a few years ago, since the last part of FF era, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Anyway, we're all subject to accidents, and I wish she never have one, but let's pray for having Britney for at least 100 years more, and that we're all here to witness it and enjoy her :mhm:

She's gonna live a long life for her kids. Her boys are who she's living for. Thank god for them. there truly her two precious jewels had she not been a mother during her dark days we probably wouldn't still have her. She fought for her babies.

I've thought about it seldomly. One rare occasion being when Michael Jackson and Farah Fawcett died and the reaction ppl had that day.

Made me hope and pray that Britney wouldn't be taken too soon. I couldn't even imagine what I'd do. I just want her to live a long, jubilant life with those she cares most for

Britney is in a much better place now, so I see her living a long and happy life.

I've also wondered about the possible reaction to Britney's passing would be like. Probably like MJ or Whitney, where the public/media trashed them on a regular when they were alive then worships them when they aren't here to hear how much they were loved. :crying3:
