Britney Jean has some great songs though. If they focus on quality production and getting the songs right, an Ep in BJ's vibe direction could be great. The album isn't as bad as some make it.

 

Britney Jean does seem to be missing great pop tracks. Work Bitch is great though it's more straight EDM compared to what Britney had done with other Genre/pop blending Britney's known for imo. She needed a more pop version of EDM as first single if EDM was to be the direction. Britney has always taken a type of song direction and popped it out.

 

(A long with Work Bitch) The best of BJ is a kind vibey mid tempo adult. Imo Passenger is the most poppy in that direction. Some of the range doesn't fit Britney's voice and I think if they had a deep voice for the background singer the song would have been really powerful. It should be Easy is also poppy in this direction except they do the EDM dance vibe after the chorus and they have Britney's voice in auto tune affect. It's main fault of course is that after having Brit's voice affected we lose her voice completely at the end making it see like it's not a Britney song. The song had potential though. They just got it wrong for a Britney album. If Britney was on the chorus, especially that last one, it could have been a great first single in the Adult and EDM Vibe. Now that I found you also has an adult EDM with a poppy element but it feels like a bunch of songs combined into one. 

 

I think they just got some of the songs wrong on BJ. Like there is too much stutter on Til it's gone. If they shorten that I think the song could have impacted. It also sounds like a remix. In some ways Bj Feels like Britney Jean: the remixes.

 

Tik Tik Boom is a song they got right but in a lot of ways it seems wrong for CurrentNey. Sex is important to woman but the crudeness just doesn't fit with the woman Britney publicly has matured into. Perhaps it stripped the metaphor a bit too much. Even 3 had a couple in a relationship though with a want to bunch out. I love TTB so perhaps with another song to transition into the more cude?

 

Body ache is just not a good song compared to her discography and they got the track wrong with the changing vocals from the beginning to the end. The song loses steam at the end as well as having a beat taken directly from S&S. 

 

Chillin with you needed Jamie Lynn just as the background singer (instead of Myah) and a male singer as the duet artist. And the chorus is just wrong for a chill song. It needs changed in the biggest way. It had potential but they got it wrong. Which is the theme for Britney Jean. It's a good album but they got the songs wrong for different reasons.

 

Imo if Chillin with you and Body ache were scrapped and 2 songs added in a more uptempo Vibey adult with Urban traces BJ would be perfect. Well with added quality control to fix things like the Alien Glitch and good vocal so Britney's voice stands out more. If they have an EP with just a few songs they can work to perfect the vocal mix and Quality.

 

I still think BJ had potential with a different track order. I've posted my version. My friend thinks that opening with Alien was a big mistake. He's not a Britney fan per say but thinks up tempos are more what people expect from her. His Opinion the track list should have been:

IF it's true, I don't think we should be worried. They fucked up with Britney Jean and they're going to be very aware of that. I know her ten can be dumb but they aren't going to make the same mistake twice. The EP itself  will serve as a form Britney Jean damage control as well as a promotional tool for Vegas so I think they will be very different. If the rumours turn out to be true I think we can expect solid pop material and perhaps the Gaga duet. Where there's smoke there's fire.

she has not had an authentic album since blackout and also i think femme fatale was good. circus and britney jean seem like they were not very cohesive and kind of seemed cheap here and there. like out from under does not sound like a song fit for an album of an artist of britneys calibre. it seems like track filler for a movie soundtrack, there have been alot of songs like that on britney jean and circus.she has had better unreleased songs than on her albums of late. but any new music i suppose is better than none but if a person worked like a dog for years you would think they would not want to flush their reputation as being successful and high standard down the toilet just for a  marketing tool.
