if you try ask your friends who are casual fans or just pop lovers which 'new' Britney's albums they like best

they always either say Circus or FF

( i have asked like 10 people)

Blackout doesn't seem to do well with the GP tbh, interesting, maybe they like pure pop, bright sound compared to the darker tunes

it's only the best for Britney's stans tbh

To the GP, Britney is the American sweetheart, pop idol. So they expect more happy pop songs from her. Blackout is dark and reflects the time she was going through. Although I'd say Circus is a pretty dark with songs like Blur, Kill the Lights, Phonography. Not much of it is truly upbeat and bright in the BOMT way.

yeah blackout it's the fan-beloved, that's actually well know

think about it, till last year it was the only britney album that had debuted under the #1

Due to the minor technicality, right? I'd say it's not well-loved with the GP because of the events going on in Britney's life. People thought she was crazy and might not have trusted her music to be good.

I don't have any friends who like Britney :crying1:

But I sent a Britney hater some songs on wa, and once I saw for a sec on his htc he had Perfume

on his favourite songs playlist :4music: this basic bitch

but overall, the instrumentals of Circus are brighter even on those sound

it has a softer, candy-like feel to it

well i asked some friends and yeah it's true most of them prefer circus or ff mostly FF, blackout well its cuz it came out when britney was the target of shade and hate and she didnt have a great image... then for me and my friends FF came when we turned 18 so its to club ralated.. and the sound is very pop and modern generic, and well lets be real the music videos are AMAZING <3

right from the beginning everyone loves FF

the professional experts, the DJs, they were saying how nice the album was produced

the fans loved it, the GP loved it, the critics loved it, the music videos were nice

FF lives up to BO and ITZ tbqfh

I kinda agree with this...

The GP - I don't know why - but they fail to truly see Britney in her dark moments. I mean they see her as "crazy" and "unstable" but they fail to see the vulnerable side of her which is really sad tbh.

I too believe Circus is pretty dark. I think it's a transitional album in which there are still elements of dark like Unusual You, Blur, Out From Under, Mannequin etc.

FF - is the complete opposite obviously, it's very upbeat, fun and sexy

i think BJ is definitely a transitional album

it has the EDM, hard hitting section

and then the slower mid-tempos

don't know what direction the new EP or album 9 will take tbh..could be a ROL

Lol yeah. the irony that I became a fan bc of that album

Yup BJ is also a transitional album - they brought back some EDM but a little bit heavier this time, and moving toward the slow-tempos and personal elements (lyrically) with the album.

If they think so, it's because it's true. I think even Britney Jean is better than Blackout :yaknow: It's not that it's a bad album, it's good, it's just that it is the least Britney-ish. And I know she produced it and stuff, and you may say because of that it is "more personal" (which I really disagree) but it's just so different to what Britney Spears, the brand, the artist, really is. It's fine that she experimented with different sounds for that record, but it's something that I wish she never repeats again. It's admirable that she was able to release an album even during her worst time, but I don't know, there's something about it that will always prevent me from loving it.

And the GP, well, I think it's kinda the same reason, they expect Britney Spears to sing pop, and Blackout has a different kind of vibe, even if it's still considered a pop album, just because it's Britney.

Blackout is my favorite album ever/Britney's best album/The best pop album ever/Solidified Britney as a pop leader

I think she was solidified as a pop leader since her previous albums, Blackout was just a different kind of sound for her, just like Femme Fatale.

For me OIDIA is the best one :mahhaw:
