Now remember it is just a rumor but most of them turned out to be correct lately so I hope this one is too!!!!!!!! OH MY GOD SHE IS GONNA SLAY IF THIS IS TRUE!~ 5

I'm not believing it. It could be that she is simply tired of being limited, and before this there was also a rumor she may make her own record company, who knows tbh 1

She obviously didn't want to promote BJ so why would she want to be in charge of promoting other people? It sounds like a messy rumour with no logic imo. I'm not believing this one however, if the contract ending rumours were true and the EP is happening, there MUST be something we don't know going on.

And now she has finally the freedom to choose her own musical direction, which she craved for a long time. 2

Yes, I'm not stupid I remember during X Factor the rumours were going around about who she was going to sign with. If I remember correctly, the rumour was LA Reid was talking to her but the rumours just died so I started to get worried :/ It might not even be true.

With regards to Britney Jean and lack of promo, perhaps that had to do with the fact that BJ was just the final album in the contract with RCA, so of course she probably was like "let's just get this over with". Now (I'm assuming) she has the freedom to do what she wants. And that includes being fully involved in the music she makes. So I kinda believe it, if we even get an EP.

I don't think most of the rumors have proven to be true. Only some of them. I want to believe this because I always want more music and can see that this could be the direction she would want to go in. She would be in control of everything. Meaning rather she wants to do promo or not won't affect the songs since that wouldn't be an issue with her making the music on her own. I know Jamie Lynn said Britney was inspired by How Jamie was going at her career. I know one was writing personal songs but perhaps not having to worry about rather the industry will go for them or not because she paid for them herself. Remember Jaime Lynn released an Ep without having a label....

She's not over music, she's over the business that goes with it, and probably the fact that she can't do whatever she wants so obviously she's over it if it's not something she really likes. It actually makes a lot of sense to me if it's true. The fact that she could release something that she really wants and not something that her label, her team, and people with who she worked, decided themselves because of money. (And btw , that's what Jamie Lynn did so..)
