The reason people point out her face changes (although it can be very annoying) is simple. Britney's face did change. Small cosmetic face changes can really change how you perceive someone's face overall. The biggest reasons for her change in 'Britney face' is the fact that she got obvious lip injections in her top lip (which often rids people of their cupid bow and a bit of face expression) and face fillers.

 

Subtly enlarging areas around the nose give the illusion her nose is slightly smaller, hence people start discussing nose jobs. 

 

Are these things important? No.

Is it THAT big a deal if someone mentions it in a non-derogatory way? Meh, not really. 

Her fan base have became sometimes unnecessarily defensive.

 

Saying that, she CAN do whatever she likes to her own body and face - it really is not that big of a deal. 

 

I just hope she's not just doing it because 'it's her job to look good'. That'd be a shame.

Noses get slimmer with she and weight ffs!!!!!!! She was still losing her puppy far at 17 so stop bringing them pics up. Her nose in 2001/2003/4 is however a lot more similar to what it is now.

Though, I'm not quite sure if it's anyone's business to make a thread specially just to have people say yes she has or no she hasn't. Though I get the point of the thread- to judge the people who say she has

The only reason it's an issue is fans keep harping on how she doesn't look like Britney any more. She does too look like Britney. She is Britney and doesn't look like she has had anything major done. They use cosmetic procedures to degrade her when they were the ones begging for stuff in the last few years.

 

She has often said if she feels she needs it, she'll get it so there is nothing to discuss. If people wouldn't use it (like they use everything) to attack Britney, very very few "Britards" would even comment.

But even in her worst days in 2007- eraly 2008 she still had that "Britney face". Even during in 2009. It was in 2010 when she suddenly changed. Even if you change the makeup on the Britney at the right side, she won't "look like Britney". It's like if her eye sockets were deeper or something.

I love current-ney and I think she's still beautiful, but if I wasn't a stan, and didn't follow her every day to see how she's doing, I wouldn't recognize her today. And that's only in pictures. In video, even the way she looks, the expressions she makes, everything changed. I'm not bashing, I'm not complaining, I'm just saying that she doesn't look the same. She has changed, and we can't deny it. You may say, well, it's been 10 years, but no, she literally changed overnight, well, from one year to another. The first comparison it's more accurate, but the young Britney that you used in the picture wasn't precisely the best Britney we had back in the day, she almost looks like this one so it's not the best proof we could use to say that she still looks the same. She has became closer to the Britney face in recent candids, but the change is still visible.

I know… that’s why I wasn’t sure if I had to make this thread or not. Because I knew some people would say it wasn’t a good idea. But this is a forum, we’re here to discuss Britney and that includes shallow things like her appearance. But it was bothering me so much lately that I gave it a go.

 

I really don’t want this to turn into a yes she has or no she hasn’t. I look at things in a very rational and analytical way. And I don’t believe things that easily. So it always bothers me when people say she “clearly†had a nose job or “obviously†uses fillers. I just don’t accept those thing just like that. I need proof.
