News Posted August 13, 2014 #1 Report Posted August 13, 2014 We all know in our world that everyone always copies are Queen Britney Spears because she is a LEGEND. People always deny that there artist never copy our girl Britney but deep down they know THEY DO. Yesterday Ariana Grande released her music video "Break Free' and well what do you know Ariana copied our girls epic music video "Oops I did it again". There was a lot going on in social media saying that Ariana Grande ripped off Britney's concept idea for "Oops I did it again". Here is one article. The media is obviously saying that our girl britney did the whole space concept better, which is not surprising to any of us to be honest. Another day another drama when it comes to all these basic artist copying are girl britney,i hope people now know why we call her a LEGEND. Nice try Ariana but i think Britney rocked the space music video better. What do you guys think about all this? Was Ariana copying our queen? Discuss on Universe! Guest GlamBoy Posted August 13, 2014 #8 Report Posted August 13, 2014 I don't even get why so much hate towards Ariana! She doesn't wanna be the new Pop Princess nor she said it, so stop it with the fucking hate, Gosh!!! And i don't even see the similiarities between both videos. I thought of P.Diddy's Tell Me video, Xtina parts. And Star Trek film, lol. But i can't see the Oops similiarities And if we talk about copying then Britney copied Miley Cyrus's We can't Stop. Check out that red shit at the intro. You're welcome! 1
Intoxicated Posted August 13, 2014 #9 Report Posted August 13, 2014 It is not about her trying to be the new princess of pop. It is her trying to do and oding the steps Britney did. She is trying to pull off the sexy/innocent look just like Britney did in her days, but she fails big time tbh. 1
mabuhaybritneyjeanspears Posted August 13, 2014 #10 Report Posted August 13, 2014 its so weird how these basic wannabes still look prepubescent at the same age where britney was already a full blown sex goddess. It felt so weird watching the copycat's video because at parts i thought i was watching some underage xxx movie. NO TREE NO SHADE! 2
I Just Want More Posted August 13, 2014 #11 Report Posted August 13, 2014 I hate Ariana's video but like really??? So Britney was the first artist to have Beats product placement is a video?
Phoenix Posted August 13, 2014 #12 Report Posted August 13, 2014 I saw the video. Its sad how the visuals in that look so cheap and tacky compared to the ones in Oops. And that vid was from 2000.
blackoutbaby09 Posted August 13, 2014 #13 Report Posted August 13, 2014 So nobody can do a Mars setting or it's automatically copying Britney? Or is it the hair style too that she HAS to wear because her hair became so damaged due to the red dye the Victorious creators made her use. Sorry but this is ridiculous.
Brian.TheDog Posted August 13, 2014 #14 Report Posted August 13, 2014 this got mainpaged? I didn't know I logged in to Exhale without knowing stop it Jordan
ValetGirls Posted August 14, 2014 #15 Report Posted August 14, 2014 Ariana Grande can't work the virgin/whore complex to save her life. I also found the setting and certain images pretty tacky re-dos of the OIDIA set. But why is nobody mentioning the fact that the song in general sucks donkey balls? 1
Richie Posted August 14, 2014 #16 Report Posted August 14, 2014 guys stop getting mad lol. I don't think Ariana copied britney or something either but it's fun to say she did Anyway I love the song so I was kinda waiting for the video and it's so tacky omg I don't know why but I feel uncomfortable watching ariana's videos, the same happens to me with problem. She has a beautiful voice and face, why do they NEED to make her a sex seller? of course oops is better :dealwitit: lol
MELIODAS Posted August 14, 2014 #17 Report Posted August 14, 2014 that ariana mv looks really cheap and the only thing that look like OIDIA mv is the Mars background tbh..
Jeansus Spears Posted August 14, 2014 #18 Report Posted August 14, 2014 I was so excited for Problem cause the song was slaying, but now this???? I am done supporting shitriana tbfh p.s that boring hair do seriously need to sthaaap 1
Ari Posted August 14, 2014 #19 Report Posted August 14, 2014 lol Britney always gets free promo LOL Slay my Queen!!! And yay more exposure for OIDIA!
JoshLee Posted August 14, 2014 #20 Report Posted August 14, 2014 It does look like the video except Ariana's video is kinda cheap and badly done and I didn't like how the faces were the same from problem. She has no facial expression! :/
carlitos'crib Posted August 14, 2014 #21 Report Posted August 14, 2014 I agree, Ariana's video is poop. unoriginal, uninspiring, boring, no dance moves on a dance song, fake sexiness, same old boots, same old hair, everything about this video is WRONG!!!!
Britney M. Carey Posted August 14, 2014 #22 Report Posted August 14, 2014 it could be considered "inspiration" anyway
Nelli Gaidai Posted August 14, 2014 #23 Report Posted August 14, 2014 lol that reaction gif is just fucking hilarious . love it
