Billboard Tweets An Article About Brinny Lipsyncing To Sia.

Singing live in front of an audience of strangers and especially judgmental strangers is a whole other ball game...

That would be cool, but not sure it's the best idea tho. I mean, singing live on an instagram video, but not for her fans during her show.. it's not really cool.

britney has dealt with these kind of lip synching issues her entire career. a tweet from billboard ain't gonna make her sing the song live, she's gonna do what everyone else should do.

I'm going to try and not let this ruin my Britney high from all the awesome changes we got on Friday, but ugh.
After 15 + years, I'm used to it.
But it's an even bigger bummer when it's not your own voice.
She at least used to throw in a live "yeah" or "baby" back in the day.

FIX IT BRITNEY! PLEASE!

Billboard is a lieing fucking bitch. They are just like a tabloid. Every time Britney does good somebody wants to tear her down or talk shit about her. Fuck Billboard. I hope they go out of business. Whoever wrote needs to pay. They need to suffer and lose their job.

britney and her team makes it so easy sometimes :drown:

clearly you can hear britney's voice in the video but its just getting overpowered with background vocals and ofc people are gonna just say shes lipping to only sia bc they have no common sense to tell the difference

i hope her team at least comes out and say it was a technical difficultly which it most likely is and leave it at that.

now my question is, what happen to that vocal coach Larry said she was working with???? :bitchney:  :idgi:  :boring:

did he/she said something like "sorry Britney there is no hope with your voice" and that why she doesn't sing live??

or what?? why???

i want an answer :crying4:  :crying3:  :crying2:

Yeah, I don't get it either.  Since Circus Britney has been photographed working with/leaving with vocal coaches at the beginning of each project.  So why aren't we hearing the results?  Her constant lip-synching doesn't bother me but she should at least prerecord the vocals for all the songs so there's the illusion she's "singing" along. Especially after Larry went on record (along with Britney) that she would be doing the bulk of the singing herself with the aid of heavy vocal training.  Why her team insists on making her an easy target I'll never understand.

I don't understand the big deal about this. Why? Because 1) Britney wasn't the one who put Sia's vocals on the track for the night. Why does her team even bring them near the stage mixer for one thing?! I'm sure Britney didn't tell them to do that. 2) Britney could be actually singing along with the song or at least tried to once she heard Sia's voice and you can't hear it because the man running the sound mixer doesn't turn on her mic, after all he did put Sia's vocals on so who knows whether he would want to turn on her mic or not. That's not Britney's fault and she shouldn't be criticized for something her sound man did. Like you would think he would turn it off after he realized what happened, or he did it on purpose maybe. But she has no control what they're doing while she's on stage and she just has to go with it. What's she gonna do? Get up and walk off the stage? Britney probably felt SUPER awkward and embarrassed after she heard that come on. And even if she did give a secret signal that singers do for their sound man to signal them to turn off the vocals and turn on their mic, she can't determine whether the man is actually going to do it or not. Maybe some nights she wants to sing live and they don't turn on her mic for her or feed her own voice to herself and feed the studio vocals to the audience. We don't know these things.

I suspect that Britney is sheilded from bad press.  I doubt she has any idea there is controversy out there.  I think she lives in a bubble.

Maybe if she knew, would she do something?

Most well formed and coherent opinion on here

I completely agree that it seems they almost comically always make her an easy target, they need to get their shit together

and even if i would LOVE to hear her sing live, because im a huge fan of her voice <3 im not going to wish bad press on her or something negative, like who the fuck wishes that upon someone they supposedly love

Yeah she should sing live, but she shouldn't be crucified

I agree, lip-synching is a common practice in pop music live performances so that's why I'm not really bothered by it. It's not a crime nor is it hurting anyone and the onslaught of negative press she garners is sickening.  Team Britney needs new ways to combat all these stories that pop up every two weeks, most of which could have been averted completely, had they thought things thru instead of making rash choices.
