Britney Spears has had like 3 big different eras in her career:

The teeny bob era: BOMT, OIDIA,

(transition): Britney

The revolutionairy era: In The Zone

(transition): Blackout

The revolutionairy era; volume 2: Circus, FF

I purposely didn't put BJ in, because it might be a transition era. I actually think it's a possibility

What do y'all think? Is "The revolutionairy era; volume 2" officially over with BJ?

I sure ****** hope so  :notimeforu:

P.S. I call Blackout, Circus and FF the Club era for short :)

Posted

well maybe idk, i just wish she goes back like in the zone like more urban. all the club things and roboto autotune will i am thing is getting old and overrated, i mean a lot of people is getting back to their POPULAR roots

Shakira (pop rock)

JLO (rnb)

Xtina (B2B style)

so Britney should go back to the In the zone urban style

just sayin

Circus should be with Blackout and FF with Britney Jean.

No :paper:

Circus has nothing to do with Blackout

The only reason it's there, is because I have to keep the chronical order in tact

Blackout does sound a bit more like FF and BJ though

But BJ has something FF and Blackout don't have

That's why I think BJ is one of those transitional albums

Actually it has, Circus has even Blackout tracks, yes Circus is kinda part 2 of Blackout, do some research.

No, hell no..Femme Fatale is where the autotune over use started, will.i.am started working w. Britney, Britney Jean is the sequel.

Femme Fatale was a transition, Circus was a sequel just like Britney Jean is a sequel. think of it this way

early albums - 90s/early 00s - Baby One More Time, Oops I did it Again and Britney.

later albums - learly 00s 2, middle 00s, late 00s - In The Zone, Blackout and Circus

latest albums - beginning of the 10s - Femme Fatale and Britney Jean.

3 major steps.

All the other album tracks sound kind of different though (Circus and Blackout)

But the list you made works, I'll admit  :aintevenmad:

Just too lazy to edit the OP  :)

But everyone got what I was saying, so, yeah

She should go a different direction like she is already doing a bit with BJ :paper:

Cool, lol great attitude bro :)

the closest thing to Blackout is Circus imo

I could easily imagine Womanizer, If U Seek Amy, Kill The Lights, Shattered Glass and most tracks being in Blackout tbh

LOL lazy ass...

I think BJ is better than FF, it's more personal but it's just not a diffrent direction, it's a continuation of FF.

Though I love CIrcus and like FF, I hope she returns to her roots. Britney is really creative, so whatever she comes next with, I'm hoping there's a lot of her and her ideas in it

Nah, boo. I love you, but Britney's albums go like this:

  • Teen pop: BOMT + OIDIA
  • Urban: Britney + ITZ
  • Electropop: Blackout + FF
  • Dance pop: Circus
  • EDM: BJ

We can't really tell what's coming next... I don't think any of us predicted gospel songs on BJ...

There's gotta be chronicle order though :paper:
