The fact that they said she would be singing live and she doesn't is ridiculous tho. That's why it's a big issue. If they would have said nothing, it wouldn't have been such a big deal, even if it would still look ridiculous anyway (especially when you're lip syncing over your 15yo vocals, at least put a pre recorded track :drown:). But the fact they said, and even Britney herself, that she would sing live, people expected at least the ballads live. Don't try to return to situation. People don't have to accept something that shouldn't be accepted in the first place even if it's like that since many years (and at least she had pre recorded vocals in the past).

i'm not saying anyone should accept it, i'm saying it's ridiculous to expect it. regardless of what her team, britney, or anyone said- i never expect live singing from a britney show. and i don't care if she she lips, prerecords, or just doesn't even move her mouth at all. there are more important things in life than live singing, and i'm not gonna lose my mind because britney lip syncs.

Tbh i love this perfomance (playback or not) I like the dramatic britney like in this video and the lights are really cool , the only thing that i would change is the sia vocals  :4music:  btw you can hear Britney's voice too  :bomt:

nothing is wrong with the video. Tbh, you can't hear her voice that well because her mic wasn't working good in the vid so you can't hear her singing live and raw, like she always does every night.

Oh rly? First reviews of the show were saying that she WAS SINGING LIVE ON PERFUME (I was dying at this). Trust me. I've seen many reviews from FFT saying that she is singing live. If the vocals would be different every night everyone would say that she is singing live -.-

She doesn't look and dance different every night

Why do you expect her to sound different

Britney's voice is singing even if Sia is loud so I don't get why the fans went off on this to the point that they created a scandal. I think they are just bored and what Britney talked about no matter what.

 

We all would love to hear Britney sing live more or ever but she has been lipping forever according to most people. And Yes the fans get excited at any time they think she's heard but the reality is it's rare. Others sing more and if live singing is your thing Britney isn't the artist for you.

 

Any way I found these two reviews on tumblr that I think is the view of a lot of the people who are going to see the Britney show. Though as we know not the only views. 

 

 

GEEK A WEEK

 
This week I geek’d with Britney, bitch.
 
I got to see this 90’s queen, Miss Britney Spears, at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. And yes it was pretty geeky to sing “Oops I did it again†with 3,000 people, while we all slightly did the dance moves from the music video.
 
The show was just quite that, a show. It involved Britney dressed as a huge angel flying from the ceiling, Brit Brit jumping off a tree, and even her in all neon while black lights lit the entire stage. It was like sitting in a Deloreon, the time set to the mid 90’s, when Nickelodeon was good and we all had scrunchies and no shame.
 
Seeing Britney Spears “Piece of Me†show was as geeky as it gets. Brit helped me finally live out my long over due childhood MTV fantasy (now if Nsync would just reunite and tour I could get more done).
 
The show tickets are on sale on Planet Hollywoods website. They’re not very cheap, but in my 90’s opinion, they are worth it. We all secretly have “Toxic†on our ipods still…let’s just be adults about it.
 
Piece of Me is a good little show, about an hour and thirty minutes. But also just remember this, Britney is lip synching, it’s not quite a concert, it’s more a performance. Just know what you’re getting into…you’re paying for the chance to have Britney Spears be in the same room with you while you both sing along to “Drive me Crazyâ€.
 
Britney Spears is a pop cult icon and I’m so glad I got to see her in all her Slave 4 U glory.

I have been so excited to see Britney in Vegas! I watched the making of the show  on MTV, and when Paul got me tickets for Valentine’s day, I was over the moon!  Finally, the weekend came. The Planet Hollywood Venue is pretty small. I’d  compare it to the Orpheum without the balcony. All the seats are good. She does  lip sync, but any true Britney fan knows she is more about entertaining. She  definitely did that. Her body was bangin’, she was dancing more, she  did hit after hit (I didn’t hear I’m not a Girl, but that’s the only  one I noticed missing), and she has awesome stage props. I would definitely  recommend this show! FYI-my shirts were between $40-$45 and the souvenir drink  cup was $24.

I mean when she would sing live she would have different vocals every night - then people def wouldn't say it's pre-recorded.

Except the difference wouldn't be drastic and barely hearable on shitty youtube and instagram videos
