David LaChapelle sat down on an interview and he was asked to discuss britney "Everytime" Music video. During his interview he said that Britney did not want to finish the music video at all and he said she was "over it". He said

the interview:

Its so intense. She never actually wanted this career. Her parents pushed her to do this. She was doing pageants. She was doing beauty pageants. When she was 17 years old and when she shot rolling stone. I met her parents at her house and they were sweet. Everyone was really nice. There were trophies and pictures of her in the beauty pageants.  Britney was kinda from a very young doing the beauty pageants to a TV show in America. When we were doing the Everytime video and Shooting the second day, instead of finishing it, she did not want to finish it.  We didn't have the video.

Very interesting. What do you guys think? Click

to watch the video, really should listen to the video its very interesting.

I kinda believe him because she said herself many times that she is not naturally cut for this kind of business...

It's crazy how someone who doesn't want to do this job could surpass all her contemporaries and rule the pop world...Makes me appreciate Britney Spears even more... :mahhaw:

BWAHAHAHA this makes me laugh over all the "She wasn't allowed to finish it" rumors.. Poor stupid loooooosers...

Anyway, when I look at whach she did from 1999-2002, I don't believe she didn't want it. Look at slave, that is passion, she has loved every minut of it..

Well, I don't think she was "forced" to enter this business.... Look at her fierceness when she performs. Look at the choices she's made (Toxic, Blackout....). Yeah, she may be "tired" by the system but she loves it....

I believe that she has always loved performing and she still loves it but she hates the price that comes with the job...She wasn't expecting it back then...

At the end of the day, only she knows how she feels regarding her career. If I had to guess, I would think it's like any career, days ya love it, days ya hate it!!

THIS!!!!

I completely agree. There may be aspects of the business that she doesn't like or isn't "cut out for" but she is a natural performer and dancer and you can see that in her passionate performances!  :nowaygif:

isn't it  a well known fact that britney was done with everything during itz. she was burnt out and it's a big contributing factor, in my opinion to her breakdown. among other obvious things

The real reason why she didn't want to finish it, as we all should know is that she wanted to do the suicide theme but her team wouldn't allow it. So she locked herself in the dressing room for ages but finally came out and gave in.

Obviously the director wouldn't say this though as it was her teams decision to scrap the suicide idea. A director shouldn't let everyone else control his vision. So therefore, that's why he didn't say this.

She wasn't cut out for this business but we all know she can put on a show and smile for the cameras and she's great at it and right now, she seems pretty happy doing this

Tbh, how would he get that info? I'm guessing she WAS just pissed with her team and needed a break. She was not forced into the limelight at all tbh. The passion in MMC was there and as a child, if your parents force you to do something you can't put an act on. I'm sure they at least encouraged her to follow her talent as I would if I was a parent who was poor but they did not force her or push her talent for more than what it was to get money. I'm disappointed that hardly anyone has argued against this on here

I don't really know wether I should believe this or not. During the In The Zone era she seemed really excited and passionate about mostly everything and her performances were TOP.

:tbh:

that's not true, you can tell she was faking it
