BWAHAHAHA this makes me laugh over all the "She wasn't allowed to finish it" rumors.. Poor stupid loooooosers...

Anyway, when I look at whach she did from 1999-2002, I don't believe she didn't want it. Look at slave, that is passion, she has loved every minut of it..

this...I really don't believe this new thing of she didn't want it...she was so passionate about it....if she didn't want this she wouldn't had make half of what she did with the quality that she put in everything...I believe that she didn't want the level of fame that she got, even though she said she wanted to be like madonna, but i believe that she didn't really know what that meant....and I believe too that she thought that she could end it when she wanted, but she always wanted this...she worked so so hard to make it...there's no way that someone that is being pushed works as hard and with the quality that she presented

According to Lynne, though, she only did like one or two pageants and then she pulled her out of them because she didn't like the way they were run. He makes her (Lynne) sound like some pushy bitch who just HAD to have Britney in the spotlight.

I still love his work though and he seems like a chill guy.

But folks need to stop with the "Her parents made her do it" stuff. Even Britney has said over and over and over again, that if anything, it was always her who was twisting their arms to get into the business, not Jamie and Lynne pushing her.

Didn't mean for that to come off all touchy lol. (Ive just had a bad day)

that's not true, you can tell she was faking it

how was she faking it when she composed songs, wrote lyrics, produced it...she loved in the zone...she loved her craft...she was really excited about it...she started to get tired of it when the promotion schedule started to get really crazy, and when she met kevin she went down hill...but in the beginning she was really passionate about this project...

she might have been passionate about having more control but you could tell by her attitude that she was burned out

i was born by then and remember it clearly :)

even the rumors of britney faking her injury cuz she was over it (though obviously it wasn't true)

If you say so....

But I honestly can't agree with that right now.

But you're entitled to your opinion, obviously :)

Britney honesltly wanted to end her career after she broke up with JT... Idk how she performs everytime tbh... If I were her Id skip that gem on every tour... Britney is so tour she can pull off singing that song without crying...she honestly didnt give two fucks that her song was being covered tho... theres something very fishy about britney tbh... it could be she never loved justin... and she just was a robot... :( idk theres like so many things going on and we want fucking answers

I kinda believe him because she said herself many times that she is not naturally cut for this kind of business...

It's crazy how someone who doesn't want to do this job could surpass all her contemporaries and rule the pop world...Makes me appreciate Britney Spears even more... :mahhaw:

I totally agree with this!  :mahhaw:

And I think she always underestimates herself sadly... She just doesn't know how great she is... But luckily, we. the fans, see that in her...

This makes me think that "Unusual You" is a song about the fans... haha

At the end of the day, only Britney knows how Britney feels so everything regarding "how she feels" is purely speculation.

That being said, I disagree with the director that she never wanted her career. She could have finished her 5 album contract with Jive back in 2004 with Greatest Hits: My Prerogative, and retired then and there. There was no forcing her back in the studio after that. I've always truly believed that Britney always has found (and continues to find) solace in the music and the recording and dance studios. :)
