She needs to take time off and live the life she wants away from music (at least over a year. More like two to five, tbh). Then she'll be able to really gain that passion back. And when she does return, she needs to have complete control over the music. She mainly likes performing songs from ITZ and BO it seems, two albums she had a lot of say in.

She also needs to surround herself with people who will push her to be greater than mediocre. Like her choreographers for Vegas let her do the bare minimum, for example.

I think during that time (during the whole ITZ era generally) was the time when she started to get burned out that's why she was "over it".

When I read this it was over at exhale (Still much easier for me to be there when I'm on my phone). I figured I should bring what I wrote over there, over here....

 

I think by Pageant he probably just means all her little kiddie performances and such. Meaning she was a kid when she started and not an adult making all her decisions.

 

The rumor about them changing the video last minute and stuff? That it was originally darker. Maybe that played a part in her wanting out of the video set. Perhaps even then when she got upset it was hard for her to handle the stress and being around all those people when she wasn't happy was just something she didn't want to deal with. 

 

I don't think Britney likes any of the negativity that goes with being a star. She just wants to make music and perform to make herself and others happy. When that isn't working it's just not fun for her. She thrives on the attitude and energy of the those around her and the audience impression. Negativity eats her up. Like she says now, looking back she really wasn't made to be a star. It's not that she didn't want it.
