Of course she does the same with Janet...how many did Janet win? And usher has more icon I videos than justin and sold more he deserved that award more than justin as a solo act :zoomzoom:

Lol. No way

The vma isn't as prestigious as it used to be. They give it away to anyone now a days. Just like the show is such a mess now. People don't even watch it anymore it's just a mess now. Britney doesn't care and neither should we. She's been there done that and she was around when the vmas were at its peak.

I'll never get over "Toxic" losing Best Female when it was the only female video nom'd for Video of the Year in '04.   :zoomzoom:   But yeah Britney should have racked up several moon men before "Piece of Me."

RE: Beyoncé -- I really do think she deserves all the success she has achieved, last night her set made everyone look like straight amateurs.  This woman is the total package, and I was entertained.

who's peter gabriel?

and of course britney should have more VMA's. She should've gotten best dance for Slave 4 U and Overprotected and Boys tbh and she should've gotten Best Pop/Best Female Video AT LEAST for Toxic ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING SHE WAS THE ONLY FEMALE IN THE VOTY CATEGORY... seriously, it's logic. I mean all of her videos are amazing....

I can't believe Ariana Grande's Problem video got a VMA but Toxic didn't. What the fuck?

Neither do ...BOMT, Oops!, Stronger... I mean it's just crazy... these are amazing, super iconic videos that everyone recognizes and still watches. Even Lucky.

Peter Gabriel was in Gensis.  He has done Shock the Monkey, Sledgehammer, In Your Eyes (holding boom box on head during a movie clip), and others.  I have seen him in concert and he is awesome.

Beyonce is good at putting on the illusion that she is doing an awesome show.  Take away the the effects and she is lipping and shaking her booty.  Britney was a much better dancer than her.

In Britney's defense her competition was more stiff back then...all the old pop and r&b girls she competed against were immensely talented....the only justified loss in her prime at the vmas was in 2000....oops was a huge song and video but I think that try again was amazing as well and I stanned for both Aaliyah and Britney at the time so I was happy either way but I thought that kween Aaliyah deserved it and she did it's sad that was her last time to slay the lessors I'll never get over her dying and leaving us with beYAWNsay

I was slayed at first by Bey's performance at first. Then I rewatched and I realized she relied on production just as heavily as Currentney to carry the performance :zoomzoom: Britney carried her iconic performances on her own. There was production, but the most memorable parts were HERS and hers alone.
