Lol that kiss was mostly iconic cuz of Britney...that was the only reason it was shocking tbh....Madonna and floptina were known skanks which is why no one gave a shit about them two kissin cuz it wasn't surprising but seeing Britney who was still seen as a good girl even after sexing it up a bit was shocking...it was also iconic for the passing the torch feel it had but I don't think that moment would have gotten that much press if it was someone other than Britney and I'm not being delusional when I say this
