I would have to say 2003. Britney looks great. We got "The Kiss" at the VMAs. Britney's 4th number one Album was coming out that year and she also received a Star on the "Hollywood Walk Of Fame" (youngest person ever at the time). 2003 was a Banner year for Britney. A year later a knee injury ended her dancing career.
