for example Enrique Iglesias album Sex and Love released back in may i mean the album was a total flop with 4 flop singles it debuted at no 8 with 24,000 copies after that the album no where to be found on charts...until Bailando came out and became a smash hit now the album back to the charts and it's rising again...why couldn't britney's team release one or two singles from BJ like TTB or Alien ? who knows maybe BJ  would become a multi platinum album

The songs on BJ are good, just bad explored. It's just an album to promote the residency. But POM is selling pretty good (thank God), so she doesn't need to promote anything, and that's the main reason why BJ sales are so low. If she done one promotion singing Work Bitch, it would be the hightest sales of the year, I'm sure.

Bj is dated the only song that would be a hit is tbt alien is too weird sounding and has controversy around it which could either help of hurt the song but those are the type of songs ppl expect to be sang live so her best choice would be tbt and get iggy or nicki on the remix and add a bridge to it

There are songs for EDM/Club lovers like WB, TIG, BA, ISBE

 

Controversies : Alien (glitch, auto-tune) TTB (TI's verse), NIFY (sounds like Avicii's Wake Me Up)

 

Songs that could do well on the Christian radio/charts: BMS / HOT

 

Perfume: if they released the Director's cut

 

Passenger: if they released her raw vocals

 

Perfume: if she performed live (acoustic version)

 

WB: if she performed at award shows (the VMAs)

 

 

 

Kinda surprised that Britney's team never seized these opportunities... but I guess it's because the main focus is the Vegas Residency...

The problem with Britney Jean was that Britney had said she wanted to release a personal album, and while some song lyrics are very personal, the production is horrible. Like my best friend said when I was listening to it in the car with her when it was released, she said "this sounds like Britney is singing a Black Eyed Peas album. Not a Britney Spears album" and I was like "....Will.i.Am produced it so there ya go". I think that's the main problem. If she was more in control of her production I think this would have been an entirely different story.

And then she bought Body Ache and Tik Tik Boom off iTunes and not the rest of the album so that definitely says something about them being single material. They both are party songs and therefore would be big hits.

THIS. That was a dumb move on their part tbh. It would have gotten so much attention with the original video idea.

I mean the song is really good but Britney makes iconic music videos and I think the GP expected more from that video. Especially after Work Bitch because the video was so good. Two very, very, very good music videos right after the other would have done the album a lot of good.
