Spears' publicist has confirmed the "Perfume" singer and Las Vegas starlet has split with boyfriend David Lucado.

"Yes, she's single," he said.

Breakups tend to be a big deal, no matter how good the outcomes can be. Of course Britney will move on and have her boys, but it's safe to assume she's sad. Just because she's a mom, doesn't mean she can't be upset about losing a relationship and we can't feel bad about the situation as fans.

I was never a David fan and now I feel kinda guilty for hoping theyd brake up. But I never thought it would end like this, I always thought Britney would outgrow him and move on. The fact that he cheated on her makes me very angry. We Lo know how critical Britney is of herself, I hope she in no way shape or form thinks this is her fault.
