Honestly nothing would surprise me if this was some sort of deal to release him.  It could have happened that Brit got sick of him or maybe he tired of her.  Maybe Jamie and David met to discuss any payouts and to have Britney coming out with positive publicity.  I don't know if we will ever find out if Brit/David and Brit/Jason were real relationships or some sort of contract.  It happens all the time in Hollywood.  Brit gets a lot of advantages from being seen in a relationship.  It gives the press something to talk about, it gives her a date to events, makes her appear stable,  and it gives her more of a family image.  Finally, you know Jamie would not allow anyone near her that let her step out of line too far.  Remem when Jason covered her lady parts during an X Factor event.

 

Hope she is happy regardless of what the truth is.

Of course they were real relationships omfg, do you seriously think she would let her kids close to someone she doesnt even like? Do you seriously think she would make her kids believe she has a boyfriend and let them being attached to him while it's all fake, just a contract??!! She would leave in vacations with him and her kids? Share her home with him and her kids? Living most of the time with her kids and him? Taking David to her sister's wedding with all her family???

And do you seriously think they would fake this story just to have a "positive publicity", especially Britney that she would let someone being insulted if it's not real ? Or that she's not aware and they just decided to hurt her with one of the most horrible reason of a breakup, that he cheated, just to have "positive publicity"? Yeah right.
