personally, i think she definitely changed. i used to think for the longest time she was still that same girl when during her peak (itzney) but she managed to hide that side of her nowadays because of she became shy but ive realized she completely evolved and i like it.

my favorite will always b her during the itz and britney era. the britney during her peak was perfectionism but the girl she has become i love sooo much as well  :crying1: im soo proud.

i was just wondering how u guys felt. do u also thought this way about her? and do u still see her as 'her not rly being herself' and still being that girl from her peak but just that side kept private now or do u see her as a whole new evolved person? haha i think im wierd for having thought that way for a long time but i cant b the only one right  :pieceofwhat:

None of your answers.. i think right now, is who she always was on the inside, but never let out. When you are young, and the biggest popstar suddenly, you have to act fresh, fun and the it-girl who is larger than life. She was mediatrained to be that open and stuff, and as I said you don't want to sound like a boring woman when you are 20 years or something.

At times, she to me looked fake, and that is why it took me almost 10 years to become a fan of her (2007) because to me she was faking the whole attitude and persona, she had to play the girlfriend every guy wanted to date, and the girl you wanted to be, if you were a girl.

Right now, I feel she is a lot more true to herself, she is more real now.

But heck, I'm 26, and im sooo not the person I was when I was 16...

Her recent actions show that she is still that bubbly, charismatic girl she's always been. But after she has been torn down by the media, I understand that she prefers to be reserved and not give too much away. Britney's still the same woman, just with a few more layers from experience. Still adorable as ever :bomt:

For me it wasn't just when she was young, circusney still acted the same just more mature. She was natural and she still had that smile :D

We all know Britney's gone thru lotta shit in her personal life and that sucks. I can see she made herself something like a shield and between 2009 and 2013 she was like all shy, shier than she's ever been before. And now with the break-up with Bitchcado i see her like more coming to life, lol, but it's true tbh. She's more open to herself and to us fans. She's posting more on her social webs and you can see she has more energy in her POM shows and i love that! I hope we'd be able to see Britney as she used to be around 2001 and 2004, she was that cool chick everybody wanted to be around. Now? She's a mom  :trollney: JK. I love her so much no matter what, she's still Britney and that will never change  :ucrazy:

a little bit of both. deep down she's still the same girl she's always been, but life experiences and the things she's gone through have changed and shaped her into the woman she is now. i loved her then, and i still love her now. even more so, because there's something even more real and "human" about her now then at her peak.

change is healthy

10 yrs from now if I am the same person I will consider that a sad thing

I dont see how she could not change from when she was a kid. Obviously many of her personality traits are the same, she just isn't as public which is probably more healthy. In the company of friends and family is where people's personality, integrity, and dignity matter the most anyways.

after david lucado breakup she seems just like herself from back in the day. idk i think its both. she evolved and sometimes she's still herself. there's just more layer to her now and she is more confident cuz she doesnt try to hide the many sides to her anymore

not voting cause my opinion would be like this

she's the same girl she was back then, she's just a little more shy now and she doesn't have that passion in performing and promoting anymore because she has reached her goals (rising star, superstar, breakdown, comeback)

I dont agree. Actually, i dont know. Just because Britney is reserved, it doesn't mean she's changed. You have to remember that the reason britney changed is because she was PUT in the cship by her dad. Before that, it was all activeney. Maybe in Ff she changed briefly. But after that, she became more like her old Self ... Her instagram video is very itzney. This whole private/shy thing? Not very believable. Britney always knew how to play the media and always knew how to make people talk about her. Even when she says that she's a mom, Britney knows what kinda reaction she'll generate.(Her video, tours, and lingerie line say otherwise.)

Maybe britney has changed.. But i dont think she changed so drastically as people believe.. Maybe she acts that way to show people that she's independent and can take care of herself and hopefully this will lead to her release from the c ship and gain full custody of her kids. That's what I think. If this thread was made pre-instagram video, my answer would have probably been different.

She's changed, and anyone who denies it is delusion.

EDIT: Actually, I don't like the word "changed." I feel like she grew up. She's not the same naive, 23 year old girl she was during the In The Zone era. She's experienced hell during her career, and it's made her more weary of the media and what she talks about to them. In a way I'm glad she's more reserved. If she doesn't feel the need to talk about her personal life, then so be it.

Also, all three options aren't right, imho

"She has 'changed', like every person has after they had children, went to hell, got older, etc etc" tbh

Also, very weird that people think shy equals reserved... It doesn't

Or she simply grew the fuck up and matured? :ipass: how can u expect her to be the same and behave the same with 20 and 32 :frenchy: she changed, shes growing older mentally and phisically, we all are, i can't compare myself now at 22, to the person I was with 19.
