BritneyJeanAmaze Posted September 2, 2014 #1 Report Posted September 2, 2014 I'm asking an honest question now. But is this all we can expect from Britney now. She's signed a new record contract, but didn't wanna tour anymore. So we are gonna have to go to her in Vegas for how ever many albums she signed for? And the least amount you can sign for is 2 albums. But if this is all we can expect from her looks like the rest of her career is for the die hard fans
FallingWithoutWings Posted September 2, 2014 #2 Report Posted September 2, 2014 How are we suppose to know? Anything can happen in he next couple of years, who knows!! 1

Pokémon Spears Posted September 2, 2014 #4 Report Posted September 2, 2014 At this point I thought that we were already just the die hard fans. I can't believe how she still managed to get more fans with Femme Fatal era. Not bashing or anything, but, it's just like older generations that never were fans of her, or that used to be but not anymore after her breakdown, why would they become fans now? And, newer generations, that didn't know about her before, I don't understand how they could become fans of Britney having all this wave of new acts that have been coming out on the last 3-5 years.I understand the part about touring. For me it was impossible to watch her on tour, anyway. As long as she stays in Vegas for at least a couple of years more, I could plan a trip, save money to go to see her, with the certainty that she's gonna be there and not going anywhere else. That way is better for her too, she's happier, closer to her family, and I think she'll have shorter breaks now, instead of 2 years or so.About the record label, I'm not that happy because it seems like they don't support her that much. I wish she moved to another record label actually interested in promoting her. If she has a contract, I hope it is at least for another 8 albums And I hope as well, that the albums come out every 2 years. Every year if it was possible ... Or 2 per year :ucrazy:I also hope that if she stays in Vegas for a longer/indefinite period of time, she changes the setlist, to include more songs of Britney Jean, and from other albums as well. And my last dream, which I think is the least likely to happen, is that she released more singles, at least more videoclips which is what I care about actually.
Caroline77 Posted September 2, 2014 #5 Report Posted September 2, 2014 Well, being a fan isn't just about going to her tours.. I mean think about some countries that she never went to, how these people are doing anyway? She mostly went to europe and that's it, what about asian people, australian etc.. Now it will be just like that but for everyone except the US, so i dont see where is the big deal (and im from france so i'm concerned.) and anyway isnt a tour for die hard fans anyway? Or at least people that are really fan? Cause i dont know but i will never put some money (especially expensive shows like Britney) to see someone just because i like a few songs, so i dont get what will it change anyway. Plus, she obviously will do other things, i mean there is already the lingerie line, she will come to a few countries to promote it, england and denmark are confirmed. I'm sure you can expect a commercial, magazines/photoshoot, new interviews etc.. And all that just for the lingerie line. So it's more than fine to me. You dont know the future anyway, what will happen, who knows, but to me it's fine. It's no different than stanning for an actor that will never come to your country or just for an event, i'm used to it, and i don't have to be a die hard fan to continue to like an artist just because i know i will never see her.
David Posted September 2, 2014 #7 Report Posted September 2, 2014 I would rather see her stay in Vegas and be happy and deliver good performances than be forced to go on a world-tour and pull another FFT.

As for the rest, I kinda agree with you. (Still have a string of hope. I can't help it)
Brian.TheDog Posted September 2, 2014 #9 Report Posted September 2, 2014 lemme check on my table, i should have a copy of the contract somewhere with my mail

As for the rest, I kinda agree with you. (Still have a string of hope. I can't help it) She was actually asked in the variety interview if she is eager to tour again, and she said no.
Joanhs Posted September 2, 2014 #11 Report Posted September 2, 2014 She was actually asked in the variety interview if she is eager to tour again, and she said no. There is a differnece between saying "eager" and "never". She just doesn't feel like it now, and shy should she feel eager, when she is in vegas for another 2 years or so. It would be bad for planet hollywood if she said "yes, can't wait to get over with this and hit some cheap places in europe, after I've got this beautiful stage build for me...." It will come, she WILL tour eventually, RCA is not interested in her not touring, and she can't do Vegas for ever... 1
M90 Posted September 2, 2014 #12 Report Posted September 2, 2014 She was actually asked in the variety interview if she is eager to tour again, and she said no. Really? Hmm.. Well.. maybe she said that because she's already on tour. Either way, I hope britney gets her passion back one day. As long as she's happy, that's all that matters. 1
heather Posted September 2, 2014 #13 Report Posted September 2, 2014 the only person that knows the answer to that is britney. for now she's getting to do something she's wanted to do for years, so i don't blame her for saying she's not that anxious to tour again. she's happy in vegas and it shows. who knows how she'll feel later on down the line, only time will tell 1
britneystanstan Posted September 2, 2014 #14 Report Posted September 2, 2014 She should release music every now and then. I still think if it's good pop music, people will go back to Britney even without promo. It's okay she's lying low but I hope she finds a way to work out of the exclusive Vegas performance thing. So she can promote.
Caroline77 Posted September 2, 2014 #15 Report Posted September 2, 2014 There is a differnece between saying "eager" and "never". It will come, she WILL tour eventually, RCA is not interested in her not touring, and she can't do Vegas for ever... I know that, but the way she answered tho, like (from what i remember) "no , i like the way my life is now with Vegas, i come back home etc. i don't know how i did this for 15 years i was out of my frickin mind but i was young and hungry and wanted to pursue my dreams so i guess it made sense." feels like she doesn't want to do it again, or at least that she doesn't know why she would do it again cause she doesn't feel hungry, young or anything anymore. Obviously it doesn't mean never, but it doesn't mean anytime soon either. Don't expect her to do a tour after Vegas, that's what i mean. And i wouldn't be surprised if Vegas would be extended either, cause in the contrary, it's interesting for RCA too. There is a lot of expenses for a tour that there aren't for Vegas, and trust me , Vegas is more beneficial for them than a tour (especially with Britney who doesn't want to do promo anymore). And anyway, if they still have Xtina who can't do anything than The voice, they won't have any problem with Britney doing Vegas and bringing millions for them. Yes she won't do Vegas forever anyway that's for sure, but like she probably won't do music forever, meaning she won't have to tour either. 2
JhoNey Posted September 2, 2014 #16 Report Posted September 2, 2014 she said she wouldn't world tour again. but she also said she was thinking of retirement and now she renew her contract so anything could happen. She also said she planned to go to Japan and we all know what happened
Nathan Posted September 2, 2014 #17 Report Posted September 2, 2014 I would rather see her stay in Vegas and be happy and deliver good performances than be forced to go on a world-tour and pull another FFT. This I'd just happy with just a blu-ray Vegas show with maybe extra BTS footage.
wiloconyx Posted September 2, 2014 #18 Report Posted September 2, 2014 No idea! If she stays in Vegas i have an excuse to go to Vegas (15 hour flight so i can't come every year) And i love Vegas so it would be amazing to go again and see Britney BUT I think she can't stay there forever. She has fans all over the world and not everybody is able to go to LasVegas so she has to think about that imo. I think if the boys are older it's more easy for Britney to travel around the world AND IF she really wants to stay there she's going to do atleast a farewell tour someday
BraveNewSeth Posted September 2, 2014 #19 Report Posted September 2, 2014 She was actually asked in the variety interview if she is eager to tour again, and she said no. She did NOT say she never wanted to tour again. She just said she didn't want to tour right now. EDIT: But to answer the OP's question, I think yes, for now this is all we can expect from Britney. Besides the occasional photoshoot and interview, it's obvious that Britney doesn't feel the need to promote her work anymore (tho we do have lingerie promo coming up). And at the end of the day it's her decision. If she wants to flop then she can. I don't care either way because I don't stan for sales and chart positions. I stan for Britney because she makes amazing pop music and she's the sweetest, most humble pop star ever. 1 1
Caroline77 Posted September 2, 2014 #20 Report Posted September 2, 2014 She did NOT say she never wanted to tour again. She just said she didn't want to tour right now. GetToWorkBitch Posted September 2, 2014 #22 Report Posted September 2, 2014 We don't know what will happen. The Vegas shows seem to be doing well at the moment and so are her other ventures (lingerie line, perfumes etc). It would be great if she released more music though. Britney Jean was pants and a real letdown after all the Blackout 2.0 hype last year. I remember this time last year I was getting hyped for the new album as I was hoping for great things. If/when she does record another album I hope will.i.am is not involved in producing it. I read once that Britney wanted to release 15 albums so she would have another 7 to go to reach her target. Who knows what could happen? She might even release the odd EP or soundtrack song in between albums.
Jeansus Spears Posted September 2, 2014 #23 Report Posted September 2, 2014 We'll see. We don't know what's going on next right? Like she said she would retire after pom but voila she's renewing her contract!
