Yeah, exactly! I grew up listening to Baby One More Time, Lucky, Stronger, Me Against The Music and Toxic... could I have stopped loving her only because almost everyone else hates her? I don't think so. But do I want to be hated by almost everyone only because of what I listen to? So I decided only to tell my best friends and other Britney fans what music I listen to :crying1:

Thank you, for encouraging me to express myself! :bffs:

No prob ;)

That's why I said "girls"

I never expected lesbians to be categorized like that...

Yeah i saw the OP.

When we say "guys", we usually divide them into straight guys and gays (and bi?)..So i did the same with girls.

It seems that the majority of this fanbase are straight girls and gay guys..Maybe this gives people an illusion as if all the individuals in this fanbase wouldl fit in it

Wow wow chill out :drown:

I'm not crying over it, we're here to discuss things, aren't we? Exactly :icant:

It's just..

I think it's hypocrit of gays to be this judgemental over anyone's sexuality, since they've dealt most with it ignorant people not accepting certain things :coffee::yaknow:

I just wasn't expecting this shit, lol

It was suppose to be more funny than serious. I'm sorry I didn't think expect to come across so aggressive because I tried to leave out expletives, caps, unnecessary punctuation, etc. Again, sorry! My bad.

Edit: ps I meant gay in the original post not to use the word straight twice

I understand this, cause I'm straight. The people need to know that some britney fans are no gay. The other day, i went to Friday's in my country (Peru) and the waitress started singing when she was at my table (They were playing Womanizer) and she said "I'm sorry" and I was like "Don't worry, everytime I'm on a place I whant to sing and dance the stronger coreography of POM" and she was like "OMG, you like Britney!!!", then I told her that I was straight and she scream!!: "YOU'RE NOT GAY!!!!!". I felt like shit when she said that. They need to know that there are Britney Straight Fan's.

Nowadays I'm more inrested on her músic and i'm more used to her beauty :P but it can happen to any guy of the world :4music:

I see this bias all the time, and am pretty much afraid to come out as a Britney fan. I do "like" her on Facebook, and some of my close friends know I like a lot of her songs, but both me and my straight brother are in love with Britney as a performer and love her songs. I grew up with her being "popular", but I rarely ever just pop in one of her cd's or listen to an album version of any of her songs, but I will re-watch her performances over and over again, then I'd rather have the live versions on a cd, but as I'm listening to those I'm thinking more of what is going on on stage. I could really care less what she's doing in her regular life, sure I like getting updates every once in a while from certain sites ;) but her life is her life, not mine to obsess over, but when she and her dancers and the lighting/stage designers put on a show, I'm going to enjoy every minute of every part of that performance.

I told a co-worker that I did see the FFT, and her response was "really, why?" so of course I end up defending myself while giving Britney kind of a hidden compliment because it's not cool in general to like Britney, but as a straight guy, definitely not.

I'm a straight male, I have a girlfriend which I love and I stan for Britney!

A lot of my friends love Britney and I don't see why a lot of people who are straight kinda have to deny try like her to avoid social intimidation.

Anyway IM STRAIGHT AND I LOVE BRITNEY
