jamie sound great, hopefully jamie will be a good influence on her and inspire her to sing a song live if she can do it i don't see why britney can's since she has been preforming since 1998. her voice has been getting at least ten years vocal rest, not meaning to sound mean or anything.

10 yrs of vocal rest?! lmaoo no...not singing live doesnt mean you will have the same voice you did 10 yrs ago...She smokes and doesnt take vocal lessons on top of having her sing at pitches that arent natural for her and pitching them even higher on the mastered track...

her management said she was having vocal lessons unless they lied that is.  she is the person whos name is on the cover of her album i don't think they can make her do anything. she could change the pitch if she wanted if not on the album then definitely when singing it in her concert. lots of female singers have changed the key they sing their old songs in concert because there voice has changed. she has gone through three contract changes with record labels so i'm sure if they were making her sing in a way she was not happy with she could have worked it out in those three contract changes. i can understand singers who have had there voice deteriorate through singing live for decades like mariah carey but britney should have no wear and tare on her voice.

of course they lied...they lie all the time like any other management team that has to accommodate for something "no biggie" i mean they did say she's be singing 100% live before vegas & she isnt....in terms of her musical team yea im sure she can change things & has...but Im thinking since her producers/ writers etc feel like a particular sound will work they'll mention it to her & she'll try it and agree because they just may influence her like that...evidence of such would be the consistant pitch in her voice in most of her songs, & if they werent such a vocal stretch why not sing at least a few of them live..or adjust ur voice to do so....in terms of wear and tear...she is a smoker that alone can be VERY abrasive on ur vocal cords... & she does it recreationally & not for her voice for a raspy effect like Rihanna does...so thats 10x more damage
