How old are you? 8?! :umomg::wahlykeomg:

Hahaha, yeah, when I was a little kid, maybe 3-5 years, my cousins used to play a lot of pop music for me, in spanish, like Fey, Onda Vaselina, Kabah, Shakira, and some english music as well, like Backstreet Boys and Spice Girls. The last influence they gave me was Britney Spears when she came out in 1998. From then on I've always preferred pop music over any other kind. And that's why I'm still a fan, because Britney (just like Pokémon) is like a part of my childhooh that has been growing up with me. I think, in a different universe, if I never met Britney on her early years, probably, I would have never became a fan, let's say with Blackout or Femme Fatale, maybe Circus, but I'm not that sure :mahhaw:

OOH YAAAS!! pokemon + britney is soo my childhood (sounds like a long time ago but nah, i'm 16 lol :jackk:)

i didn't remember bomt cause i was born that year, but my first britney contact ever was the VMAs 2001 when i was 3!!  :excited::fyea:  that got stuck in my mind for a loong time, she was amazing that day :thirsty:

i was thinking of this the other day and i got to the conclusion that maybe that explains my "hypersexualization" and of my generation too. so yea, definetly the music you hear in your childhood defines your future preferences!!

when I was little I listen to a lot of portuguese artists...I don't really like this kind of music anymore...I love listening to pop (britney of course) and I listen anything from system of down, to eminem, to dead can dance...those kind of music have nothing to do with each other, so I don't know how much of that sentence is true

The first two songs I ever heard AND knew the names off were Circus and Womanizer

Britney's impact :crying1:

But seriously though

My sister used to take care off me a lot, and she'd play songs that were popular back then aka Britney etc :bomt:

So basically, the fact that I'm here is all thanks to my sister :paper:

show love for the sistas of the world

This is obviously true tbh. Britney is the only artist I have childhood memories of. And I have 11/12 of them. 4 of the earliest are probably, seeing the Oops Cassette tape outside in my garden, watching my sisters being taught the Sometimes choreo in the living room but feeling weird wanting to join in and constantly running into my brothers room with my sister to watch crossroads on VHS.

And then finally, something more weird, I have never been a stan and not necessarily a fan either up until 2011 and after all them years of my sisters having the BOMT single, and none of us liking her really (they grew out of her music, but found out my sister has WB and OLL on her phone yesterday), It kept with us and now I have it and it is still playable :o

I honestly feel I was supposed to like Britney. I don't really know if God wanted me to reflect her happiness. But what I mainly feel is that God wanted me to be inspired by her singing/dancing as that is now my escape in life

It may feel stupid for some people when we say that a celebrity change our life and all.

But she seriously made me a better person.

People don't understand that the Britney Army are not simply "fans" like most fan bases,we can actually relate to britney because she's so normal.

She's not one of those stars you see saying: "I was bullied in school and now I stand up for myself",instead she just acts like:

"we all go through problems and we have to make the best out of it".I love her for being so human  :P
