It may feel stupid for some people when we say that a celebrity change our life and all.

But she seriously made me a better person.

People don't understand that the Britney Army are not simply "fans" like most fan bases,we can actually relate to britney because she's so normal.

She's not one of those stars you see saying: "I was bullied in school and now I stand up for myself",instead she just acts like:

"we all go through problems and we have to make the best out of it".I love her for being so human  :P

This line we all go through problems and we have to make the best out of it".I love her for being so human

I have only been a true Britney fan for a year and a half. I didn't start buying anything until last year. But I have educated myself a lot about all things Britney. Except the JT and Britney drama which I feel is unimportant. However, I do have an opinion on it as well. I saw Britney in Vegas and she was great and I can't wait to go again. I wish I got to see her pre-injury though that would have been something.

I was 4 when britney released BOMT.. My mom and I love britney :P

I grew up obnoxious and silly :P just like britney lol

But britney is a good role model and haters will deal... I'd rather have people admire gaga over Miley.. Or even Xtina over Beyoncé

I was 5, Britney was my first MTV female VMAs peformance that I've ever seen (Because the first ones were Nsync) because I was 5 years old and my Aunty bought me the VMAs 1999 & 2000 with Britney's performance but after the 2001's VMAs with Nsync, Britney, My first real concert was Circus, my first CD was My Prerogative because I was 8 and my parents could trust in me to take care of CDs and then it's history

I remember hearing BOMT sometimes and lucky when I was a child like 3 or 4 yrs old, because my cousins used to play Britney's songs a lot. cause they were fan of hers.. They even told me that they would stay up late just to see her music videos on mtv lol. , then when I was around  11 or 12 I discovered Britney, but her songs were so familiar.. I could actually sing along to a few lines of bomt and lucky.. so I realized that I mustve listened to this when I was a child.. and that was the start of my stanning for Ms. Britney Spears..

Ive been a fan of Britney for 7 yrs. now.. and my love for her  keeps getting stronger .wow.

OOH YAAAS!! pokemon + britney is soo my childhood (sounds like a long time ago but nah, i'm 16 lol :jackk:)

i didn't remember bomt cause i was born that year, but my first britney contact ever was the VMAs 2001 when i was 3!!  :excited::fyea:  that got stuck in my mind for a loong time, she was amazing that day :thirsty:

i was thinking of this the other day and i got to the conclusion that maybe that explains my "hypersexualization" and of my generation too. so yea, definetly the music you hear in your childhood defines your future preferences!!

thank you brit :crying1:

That's funny because I was exposed to all that over sexualized acts in the pop music when I was a kid, but it didn't affect me at all. It wasn't until maybe ITZ that I started to say like, wow, she's getting maybe a little too sexy, but I think it was fine. The pop music in general started to suck around 2004-2005, that's when I started to listen to more music in spanish, but then the reggaeton appeared :ewomg:, and then I wanted to go back to music in English, but Blackout didn't help that much. It wasn't until 2008, with Circus, and many others that I started to listen to this new pop music again :mhm:. I miss the old days though :crying3:

I sort of agree with this. Back when I was a child I listened to Shania Twain religiously, along with a lot of Classic rock that my dad played. I hate country (except Shania lol) and I don't listen to rock music at all. I'm definitely a pop/rap music person  :ummlol:

Although, my dad got me BOMT for Christmas along with a boombox when I was 4 years old and I don't think I ever turned it off. Ever since then I've loved Britney. I made my mom take me to buy Oops! on it's release date and I remember taking my original copy of Britney to school for show and tell in Grade 1 because everyone thought I was awesome for getting it early and some girl stole it outta my backpack and I saw her walking away with it and I never got it back. I was so mad  :displeased: . But honestly that all definitely influenced how much I love Britney today so I guess that's partially true with Britney, but not so much with other types of music.

The first two songs I ever heard AND knew the names off were Circus and Womanizer

Britney's impact :crying1:

But seriously though

My sister used to take care off me a lot, and she'd play songs that were popular back then aka Britney etc :bomt:

So basically, the fact that I'm here is all thanks to my sister :paper:

Holy God, you are young.

But flawless sister.

Oh yeah, true. I think I once read the article that had that same quote. I do wonder though what they mean with "childhood". Because what you hear at 4 is not necessarily what you will like at 15 for example.

Anyway, I do know when I was younger I listened to the lp's from my mother. And that was Lionel Richie, Whitney Houston, The Bee Gees, Abba... So it's no wonder I liked pop music like the Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, Britney...
